I followed the guides and still can't get this im trying to run two accounts iggy and abby when I first login it seems fine but as soon as I start moving around one toon goes in the other direction iggy is my main so I would like abby to do what iggy is doing both are locks.

Please help I fell really stupid ?(

Are you using a /follow macro on your secondary toon? If not, you really should be.

I also suggest re-reading a lot of the guides, as it appears you have skipped a fair few large chunks of info.

if you are using keyclone, you may want to read this: (it was in the software section)
FAQ: step-by-step basic keyclone setup ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=2074')

Molly, I had the same problem when I started using keyclone and thought I was going mad too :)

What you want to do is go into keyclone options, click the do-not-pass button and then set each of the keys you use for movement (eg WASD) in the box there. When you do that any time you press one of those keys on your main it wont be passed to any other instances of WoW.

You may also want to use the override key if you use any of the letters you dont pass in your password, if you have all accouns set up with the same password and just type it once to log on all instances at the same time.

Alternatively, you can unmap the movement keys in the key bindings within wow for the followers, and just let keyclone pass all keys to every client.

Problem with that being that if you need to move your alt/alts due to the main being dead/feared you have less control (I assume you have mapped some keys to it for movement). If you remove the keys through the do-not-pass option all windows will still respond to movement keys as soon as they are active (foreground). Which seems to work a little better... :)

((Well for those of us who don't drive with their mice anyway.))

I just took w,a,s,d off the keys to be shared. Works just fine for me. I am thinking of taking all of the Keys to be shared off, better for typing Muting seems ineffective becasue of the lag. My computer has froze up 2 times while in mute.

Muting seems

Maybe you should consider upgrading your computer then. It'd probably be more efficient to just override anytime you go to type then to unbind EVERYTHING. But if you freeze when you override your computer may need some touch ups.

Sorry, I am still trying to get the hang of the size of this keyboard. G-15 is what I was using I am trying out that Z board my wife got me its just not the same.

As far as upgrading my computer I don't really know what to upgrade. I am running a Liquid Cooled Thermaltake Kandalf, with a Thermaltake Toughpower 1000w power supply on a 680iLTsli XFX Mobo. Running with a q6600 processor and now 8800gt XFX x2 video cards. 3 Raptor HDs, 1 is a clone for backups. Theres hardly anything on this computer other than WOW and Bioshock. I built this on Christmas day and never re-installed my programs or games.

Sure I could go with a better mobo and processor but that would run me about $1500 to "upgrade" to be getting almost the same exact performance.
I am only running 2 gigs of Corsair duel channel ram I have 4 gigs but am only running 32bit Vista. Vista and XP will only allow 3.27gig to run and trying many, many different combinations 2gig runs better than 3.27, or just over 3.00.

Its not the machine.

OMG GENIUS!

this doesn't work if im using the same wow client for lal 4 windows, though does it..

i find my load times are significantly lower when i use the same instance, even though I have 5 of them on my machine.

If it were me I'd reinstall all the software again. A machine like that shouldn't have freezes when you try and pause key input to one client, its sounds like with the upgrades something in Windows has popped out. :S IMO WinXP and up if you change anything significant in the hardware you should reinstall windows. I even do it for things like replacement (like for like eg replaced) motherboards, when the hardware is technically the same as before.

yes.. that machine seems like a nice beats and the override shoudl not lag you. if it is, you can disable the overlay reminder.. which is the MUTE text. to do this, go to keyclone/setup/override settings and uncheck 'overlay reminder'. you will still have the audio reminder, which should be enough.

btw, if you do end up reformatting your system, odds are your keyclone system-id will change... and will appear as 'expired'. just drop me a note with your new system-id, old system-id (or email address) and i'll transfer your license asap.

I ended up just turning off the Mute overlay and I turn keyclone off when I am logging into wow. Lag issue not present when playing the game
