Fear..aaaah...4x fear AAAAAAAh

Hi,

Just a short story.
Last week darkshire was under attack, and I thought, well can't be that hard to kill those hordies.
How wrong was I.

First I noticed there was a priest, one shotted him.
There was another (28k hp) priest on a roof, constantly out of sight.
Let her be, not worth the hassle to get on the roof.
A simple warlock was also around, one shotted him.
Then a heavy warrior appeared, also one shotted him.
They all ressed, and got full health to me.

Oh i got a trinked for that, *pop*
reallign toons and try to cast a spell.
*fear*
All my toons run every where, as far as possible from eachother ofcourse.
run around get all together, kill the low hp priest.
*fear*
in the meantime my hp runs down fast.
chainheal
*fear* before it's completed
*boom killed*

Got one chance to kill the 28k hp priest, got her down to 5% *fear*
and she heals up again, and oh joy, another priest came....so 3 priests and 1 warlock.....
I was sooo unable to kill them due to the fears every 5s or something, it was horrible.

Any way to counter combo's like that?

If you're boxing 4 shamans then you have pretty much the best fear defense possible...

Was thinking that also, dropped 4x tremor totem but somehow they didn't seem to make a difference..

it's because you didn't stagger them by about .8 seconds each. you have to round robin drop the totems so they "tick" cleanse fear at different times between the 3 seconds in which a totem ticks.

Ah, then that must be it. Did drop them all at the same time.

I see the problem right off the bat: you're trying to kill horde. Don't you know you're supposed to roll over and die, then go post whiny threads on the forums complaining about racial imbalance and then go back to boycotting AV?

If it's fearf every 5 seconds, I don't see how the 4th fear is possible due to dimishing returns, and the 3rd fear would be like 1.5 seconds long which is very easy to get back together from. But yea, stagger totems.
