I've been watching G4's coverage of E3. I was specifically intersted in SW:TOR. Having jumped on the Aion band wagon rather quickly, and because of the bot fest, and pointless grind, I'm now a little gunshy when it comes to purchasing new games. Admittedly, I've done little research into this game. I only know what I saw during the trailer and the 30 minute game play demo. Other than having your own ship, and the voice interactions, this game looked a ton like most MMORPG's I've tried or played. Their instanced play looked like the typical Tank, Healer, DPS, group. The starting zone they showed looked a lot like Durotar, except the quillboar were humanoids. I was hoping to see how this game is going to be different. I was hoping they'd make me want to play this game.
I want to play something new and exciting. The fanbois on G4 drooled over SWTOR, but I just didn't see it. It didn't live up to the hype imo. I guess I'll have to look into it a bit more.
