Melee group advice wanted...

I would have posted this in the group composition section, but I not allowed to post there for some reason.

That being said, I am currently on my second group of 5 multi-boxing. *I have 6 WoLK accounts

The first group is a mix of 4 with several lvl 80s boosting. Unfortunately the lvl 80s are very crappily geared (WoLK quests) but that is another story.

Side note: ISboxer is a godsend, thanks Lax for this wonderful software. Repeater regions keeps the tank alive. If you don't have ISboxer, you should. Shout out for Jamba also. Makes my life even easier.

The second group I am doing is 5 paladins, 4 ret 1 prot as tank. They are all RAF linked A-B-C-D-E, and are currently lvl 40.

Questions or advice:
1) Should I swap out the paly tank for a DK at or near lvl 55?

2) How do I go about gearing them so that they can do instances? I have been doing the random dungeon finder for the bag of random (yet mostly the same item everytime) crap.

I have never really done the endgame raiding thing, and am currently on a SAT connection. My latency is in the 700's. All I am looking for is PvE/instanceing as it would not be fair to a group with such high lag. If my chars die, no big deal, just do not want to miss a heal or whatnot.

Any advice is welcome.

I personally wouldn't swap out a DK for the Paladin from a point of sheer simplicity. Some good threads in the list there which discuss the pros and cons a bit, but a Prot Pally is pretty hard to beat and synthesizes with the 4xRets very well too.

best way to search is Google and use "site:Dual-boxing.com" as a conditional. Forum search is very weak at best. Good luck with your Boxing. :D

That is a great tip. I was using the site's search engine. Good to know.

I am currently using your RAF tour guide files and it works very well.

I have used Tekkub's addon for a long time. I like how it automatically updates when you complete a step.

Now all I have to do is get the prot pally to 55 so that I can make an DK to try out as the account is new.

Lvl 42 and counting...
