Alliance PVP realm EU

Hi,

Currently me and my gf are boxing on Thunderhorn EU (PVE) and Talnivarr EU (PVP).
All teams are alliance.
Since Thunderhorn has suffered quite some lag and crashes, we started boxing on our old PVP realm.
Leveled 1x pala +4 shammies to 80 with nice gear, and 1 druid+4 shammies to 71 now, still in progress.
I;m having a blast with the shammies, really op compared to my mixed team.

Alliance on Talnivarr is well.... serious outnumbered, most of the time wg gives a tenacity of 8 or more.... and we'd be happy if once or twice a week wg is for the alliance :)
We'd been thinking or a faction change to horde on Talnivarr, but we just can't stand the horde (no offense)

Is there any realm in EU where there are boxers on the alliance?
Would be fun to join them, and transfer to that realm maybe...

Maybe I could hop over to your server. Currently I`m on frostmane EU alliance. Well actually I`m not boxing atm or playing much. Finishing up uni now and then vacation. After that I`m planning to 10box, I was thinking of rebooting to new teams on a new realm. Frostmane is nice for progress, loads of good players there and pugs are going up to lichy tho it`s full and lag at it is. Cata release won`t be nice for a boxer, it wasn`t when wotlk came out.

How`s the community on your current server?

Community on Talnivarr is, well... I don't really meddle much with them. Trade is full of the usual crap.
All alliance cities can be razed by 1 horde and there is almost no alliance that cares about it.
Horde is much more present, kill one of them a few times, and you're almost certain more will show up...
Don't know how it;s on other pvp servers, maybe it's supposed to be that way :D

I play on Kul Tiras EU, horde side. There is one other dedicated guy who is 77 with his team in my guild. 1 other 5 boxer seems to have taken a break and 1 seems to have given up on boxing. Lately some of the better player (i.e. from the top guilds) have taken up boxing with 2-3 toons. If there is one thing I've done right in my rather short wow career, it's making boxing more or less acceptable among horde on KT.

Horde KT is tmho just great. Gearscore is hardly an issue here, and the quality of players I've pugged with is decent. Trade chat is way more laid back than what've seen on other realms. And definitely way less 'anal, i pwn u cs i'm l33t with my 7k gs' than alliance here (i have an alliance bank account open most of the time).

So far I haven't experienced any lag. Alliance / Horde ratio seems to be 2:1. However there is enough horde action to pug whatever you want. Alliance tend to hold VoA more than horde, i'd say 60/40 in their favor. However during the first days after a reset, the 'big' guys seems to join wg and we hold it during prime time. The server is medium populated btw.


The horde AH has enough activity to make a decent income, however if you really want to play the AH game to become wealthy, you'll have to do more cross faction business.

I've seen 1 lvl 80 boxer on alliance (dk + 4 pallies), but it seems this guy is hardly active (at least boxing, seems to be a month or 2 since he logged his alts judging from his armory).

The battleground (reckoning) favors horde a lot in terms of wins. Queues are about 10-15m for horde and instant for alliance (but judging from their qq on the forums it might take an hour or 2 to complete their daily BG).

Well for myself I can't think of a more fun boxing environment than kul tiras horde. Definitely not from what i've seen on other realms.

But it all relies on the motivation to play with other boxers. If that's not something you'd like, then i guess there's no point in it.

crappy trade channel
A LOT of pugs, GS seems to matter. But i can't really give a subjective awnser here, since the raids i got invited to knew me from boxing and didn't really care what GS/ achiev i had(since i didn't had the achiev obviously :P). Even did toc 25 with the 4 shaman.

I restarted here after i transfered my 4 alliance shaman from Aggramar(dead realm) to Al'akir, where The Zerg was back then. Now The Zerg is dead and the people who also transfered from aggramar to al'akir transfered to other realms / stop playing etc. So that was pretty much wasted money. To avoid that again, i restarted on Grim Batol.

Now i can say, with confidence that Gimp won't fall apart / get inactive, since there's one new boxer joining for each boxer taking a break.

So, it would be great to have more active 80 boxers here, so we could get some serious 25 man boxing raids going. :)

Hmm.
Problem 1: I don't want to faction change to horde. Please don't be offended, but I've always played alliance, and really can't stand it. I know it's really emo, and it are all pixels, but still :D
Problem 2: after having leveled several teams to 80, and geared 2 teams to a nice gear set, I will not level a new team in the state the game is now in. Maybe when cata comes, then the game is different.
Problem 3: Financial stuff, if we go for a transfer, we want our most played teams on 1 realm. Total number of chars is 24..... 480 euro's....pretty steep, blizzard should give a discount. Starting all over and getting the toons at same state would cost almost the same..
Raiding with boxers would be fun, HC's are damn boring right now, but i hate to pug and be expected to know every second of a fight while never being in that raid.

i'll transfer to GB horde if they do a free char transfer...but that's not very likely. Just don't want to spend £75 x 2 (transfer to horde, transfer to GB)

Not offended. Same goes for me, i don't see myself playing ever alliance or a female toon (as a guy). You asked about kul tiras, and i answered, from my pov/experiencE.

Hi,

Last week me and my gf have started transfering our teams to Kul Tiras - EU.
Currently only the shaman teams are transfered, other teams will follow soon or not so soon :)

We've already met 2 horde boxers (zenka and sekun), and 1 alliance boxer (xorsice).
With all we have had a little chat, nice to meet you guys!
I've met zenka quite some times now in WG, fun fun fun!
