Well I did it, about 15 tries and I finally killed him.

My 10 man team :

Tanks:
Pally tank - main
War tank - auto follow bone slice stacker with some pathetic dps rofl!

Heals :
Tried 3 and 4 heals, 3 won
2XPriest - holy
1 Shaman

DPS:
2X Mage
2X Lock
Druid

A few things I had to change, one was adding a /target Bone Spike to my tank macro sequence, helped a great deal- and i got an achievement for it! Second thing, i made a macros heal for each squishy for the bone spikes damage, as mashing other heals was using way to much mana. and I died multiple times due to lack of mana.

I straffed out of fires, and stacked up using POH/COH/Wild Growth through the bone storms and DPS during each storm. Concentration aura helped this alot.

It really helped to take this guy down slow, and worried about heals, I payed no attention to dps. In fact it was very low.

Anyways, on to the next boss. We'll see how this goes with all ranged classes rofl!

Deathwhisper was a bit tougher for me to figure out than Marrowgar, but hopefully between the couple of videos that are up it will speed you along in your kill.

Glad to see more 10-boxers taking down current raid content. Gogo10box!

Ya deathwhisper was a royal pain in the butt. I did figure it out, and it's definitely the hardest one, and easiest to screw up. I'm stuck at the 4th boss. I gave him a few goes, I haven't quite figured out a strat for him. Been a bit lazy since I was happy with downing the first three in a week.

If you can solo Gunship, you can definitely solo Saurfang. He's by far the easiest of the first four. When you get a bit more time, give him another shot. Nice loot and no trash as well.

Yep doable. I've been running ICC with 2 guildies now( they dont box), so 10 man solo is slowly closing. I got a few more in the guild now, and they like tagging along. It makes a huge difference now, with them helping. It's a one shot all the way. Gunship is awesome I love that battle, best mix of stuff going on!

With all the wiping doing it solo, I prefer the extra 2 helpers, they take away the tricky stuff, while I handle the meat and potatoe parts of an encounter. And a little company sure is welcome!

One of them is a DK, he's been especially lucky with drops too!

I am in the process of converting to 5 man, and running ICC 2X a week with my guildies, and a few new members. I'm just a heck of alot better with 5.

So unfortunately my 10 man is closing up for now :P
