I run a druid and four shamans....
The elementals didn't get much - although earthquake!?!?! :cool:
But boomkins? wow... I seriously cannot wait :D

elemental got a bunch of goodies... and we CAN use the lava burst cooldown thing effectively as boxers, at least if you are using ISBoxer

I like most of them as they seem to be buffs and Great new spells. PW: Barrier and Earthquake.
But Starfall is nerfed. No more splash damage. Its no longer over powered...AAAHHHH CRAP.

I feel a bit better about my 1 paladin 4X druid team. Have an 80 rogue to swap with one of my DPS and almost have my old mage to 80 just in case the crowd control issue comes up!

Starfall doesn't do splash dmg but did you see how much more dmg it does :P Boonkins got buffed like fooking mad lol. Knock Down + Targeted Aoe silence/interrupt + the run through the corpse for mana ! + mass snare when trees die :) Etc...

One thing I dislike:
"Shapeshift into the Tree of Life, increasing healing done by 15% and increasing your armor by 240%, but reducing your movement speed by 50%. Hope druid healing isn't nerfed too bad- and I know it's too early, just a bad feeling making my spidey senses tingle...

Bah yet another targeted aoe which is a hassel (earthquake) and that Solar Beam given to druids is bad news for boxers I think (well unless you are boxing druids lol). Have to keep being mobil for sure. And CoH cooldown longer.
Humm more bad then good me thinks.
Hopefully mages get some love'n.
No big advantages that I see so far, well thunderstrom goes out to 13 yards that sounds good (with elemental reach), 1.2 extra yards ....
Also on the solar beam spell seems at tier 3 you can get the 51 point talent in any of the 3 and still get it .... bleh.

Balance Tree
Tier 1 (Left to Right)
* Starlight Wrath (5 points) - Reduces the cast time of your Wrath and Starfire spells by 0.1/0.2/0.3/0.4/0.5 seconds.
* Genesis (5 points) - Increases the damage and healing done by your periodic spell damage, healing effects and Swiftmend by 1/2/3/4/5%.
Tier 2 (Left to Right)
* Moonglow (3 points) - Reduces the Mana cost of your Moonfire, Starfire, Starfall, Starsurge, Wrath, Healing Touch, Nourish, Regrowth and Rejuvenation spells by 3/6/9%.
* Nature's Majesty(2 points) - Increases the critical strike chance of your Wrath, Starfire, Starfall, Nourish and Healing Touch spells by 2/4%.
* Improved Moonfire (2 points) - Increases the direct damage of your Moonfire spell by 5/10%.
Tier 3 (Left to Right)
* Nature's Grace [TBR] (3 points) - All non-periodic spell criticals have a 33/66/100% chance to grace you with a Blessing of Nature, increasing your spell casting speed by 20% for 3 seconds.
* Solar Beam (1 point) - You summon a beam of solar light over the enemy target's location, interrupting the enemy target and silencing all enemy targets under the beam within 10 yards while it is active. Solar Beam lasts for 12 seconds.
* Celestial Focus (3 points) - Reduces the pushback suffered from damaging attacks while casting Starfire, Starsurge, Hibernate and Hurricane by 23/46/70%.
* Nature's Reach(2 points) - Increases the range of your Balance spells and Faerie Fire (Feral) ability by 10/20%, and reduces the threat generated by your Balance spells by 15/30%.
Tier 4 (Left to Right)
* Nature's Splendor(1 point) - Increases the duration of your Moonfire and Rejuvenation spells by 3 seconds, your Regrowth spell by 6 seconds, and your Insect Swarm and Lifebloom spells by 2 seconds.
* Lunar Justice [NYI](3 points) - When you kill a target that yields experience or honor, a ray of moonlight will shine underneath the fallen enemy instantly restoring 2/4/6% of your base mana to you or the first ally who stands underneath it. Lunar Justice lasts for 15 seconds.
Tier 5 (Left to Right)
* Brambles(3 points) - Damage from your Thorns and Entangling Roots increased by 25/50/75% and damage done by your treants increased by 5/10/15%. In addition, damage from your Treants and attacks done to you while you have Barkskin active have a 5/10/15% chance to daze the target for 3 seconds.
* Starsurge(1 point) - Requires 1 point in Solar Beam - You fuse the power of the moon and sun, launching a devastating blast of energy at the target. Causes 622 to 691 Spellstorm damage to the target and knocking them down.
* Vengeance (5 points) - Increases the critical strike damage bonus of your Starfire, Starfall, Moonfire, and Wrath spells by 20/40/60/80/100%.
* Dreamstate(3 points) - Regenerate mana equal to 4/7/10% of your intellect every 5 seconds, even while casting.

Earthquake could be demolishing for melee infiltrating your group if you cast it at your location. Just imagine that you are being swarmed by casters and melee... quite often happens when you get the other faction angry at BGs.
Drop magma totems + earthquakes at your location and then see all the melee arounbd you die except the bubbled paladin :)
The boomkins change will be anice toy for druid teams, yet I don't like the resto druids change, it sucks big time.

My job is like a firefighter's, if there isn't anything going on I do anything I like. I used to be able to play WoW at work, but they blocked it based on corporate policy. I'm currently watching France vs Uruguay and am pretty bored, so this is where I come to relieve boredom.

Do we know what the knockdown mechanic does? Is it a daze? A stun?

Like a stun, I seem to remember a weapon long ago that proc'd knockdown. Was funny watching people fall on their butts.

You cause the earth at the target location to tremble and break, dealing 267 Physical damage every 1 second to enemies within a 10-yard radius, with a 40% chance of knocking down affected targets. Lasts 10 seconds. 20149 Mana 35 yd range 1.5 sec cast 15 sec cooldown.
Well ya I guess ummm 10 of those is ummm 26K damage, if it stacks with itself (which I guess it would), of course they will try and move out but of course they might not be able to if knocked down.
Guess I better set up some kind of camera stuffs to make it a pbaoe. Looks better then it did at first glance, plus I guess its not channeled like blizzard, plus as a dot rogues wont be able to stelth.
20K mana ... 89percent of base thats a lot but .....

I really dont get Blizz's logic on Tree. they don't want druids to be penalized for healing when not a Tree. But that happens all the time with dps stances, auras and spriest. Pallys have to regear and respec to be a healer. Druids and priests with enough spell power and mana pool dont really have to respect; as far as non raid is concerned.
