Hey all,
I have been reading stickies and other google searches... I just have some questions.

My current setup:
1 Computer
3 wow accounts, 1 80 dk on one account and 1 80 pally on another. 1 is my new Refer a friend trial account.
If I wanted to use the RAF method to get a low toon to 80 the quickest way, what would be the recommended setup? 2 noobs (1 on my dk account, and 1 on my RAF account and then do instance runs with the pally as the lead for the 2 noob accounts?)

Thank you all for any input. Much appreciated!

Quest the linked accounts and take breaks with the pally boosting through dungeons

The fastest will be instance boosting.
But that's also rather boring.

If you have toons at the various dungeons, for summons, that can knock /played time off of the leveling.
But it will still take a fair bit of time.

01-10 Quest
10-16 Deadmines
16-20 Stockades
10-20 Shadowfang Keep
20-45 Scarlet Monastery
45-55 Stratholme (Dead Side) or Scholomance
55-60 Ramparts
60-64 Underbog
64-68 Sethekk Halls
68+ Northrend Questing

When I do the intro quests with the accounts, i have them in the same team and 1 is following, these are 2 noob accounts lvl 4, one is killing and the other is following, i am not getting triple exp. I know they are linked cause i summoned one to the other. Do i start getting triple exp from lvl 1?

Thanks,
Thawte.

Yes. You should be getting trip xp right away but they have to be within a few levels of each other. You said 1 is lvl 4. is the other lvl 1? Cause if so that is the reason. Get them both the same level and then quest them together. Or boost them together.

To get RAF, you need to meet all of these:

a) Grouped with a toon whose account is directly linked to your own.
b) Within a certain proximity to that toon.
c) Within +/- 4 levels of that toon.
d) The mob/quest cannot be grey to either of you.
e) You must both be level 59 or lower.

If you are linked: A - B - C - D - E
But grouped like this: A - C - E
Then no one gets RAF, since there is no direct link between accounts.

Similarly: A - B - C - D - E should all get RAF, if they're similar level and grouped.
Even if A were a level 80, B will qualify for RAF due to meeting conditions with C.

Ok so two accounts linked to each other (both lvl 5's) with an 80 that is not linked to either account running them through instances, the 2 noob accounts would not get triple exp?

No, they'd get XP just as CavScout said.

Yes.

Wouldn't they get tripled xp (just reduced for being with a level 80)? The lower levels 2 would meet all the requirements for the RAF.

I missed the 'not' in his sentence. Original post corrected.

Basically, if the 5's are directly linked (say Account B and C, or D and E in the chain).
They're grouped together and in the same area.
Obviously they're within 4 levels of each other, if they're both 5th.
As far as I know, nothing is grey to a level 5, so mobs/quests are not grey to either.

With or without an 80th in the mix, whether the 80 is in the RAF chain or not, they get RAF experience.

Assuming the accounts are say BC.
And the chain is ABCDE.
The 80 could be on A, D or E, and they'll get RAF because BC is a direct link.
