Until today. I was burned out last Dec I stopped playing. About 6 weeks later I started solo playing a character for achievements and the fun of it. Now I am almost done with Loremaster on that toon and I needed to do 5 man quests to finish up a few zones. Fired up the dormant accounts, made a few IsBoxer macro adjustments and boom, it was like I never left.
I don't really care that I am behind the gear curve now. I will just continue raising alts to fill out the classes untill the expansion hits. I may run a few instances here and there but I am not going to go nuts over it.
I must say that I stumbled upon the /framestack command yesterday and it is awesome. It allows you to see all frames under the mouse cursor. From wow wiki:
Added in patch 3.2 This is part of the Blizzard_DebugTools interface The window will start in the upper-left corner of the screen, and move to another corner if you mouse over it, allowing you to see frames anywhere on the screen. This is a perfect replacement for the 'print get mouse focus' script we had to use previously.
During my boxing time off I reconciled with the ex gf, bought a house and moved the gf and my daughter in. Now to work on getting her trained to play so I don't get the evil eye so much.

5 boxing Wow...$75 per month.
Remote AH....$3 per month.
Convincing the significant other to play WoW..... priceless.

Thanks for the warm welcome back. I thought about whether I should post or not but damn, night shift gets boring and I had to do it. :)
I am missing only the warrior (at 80) and have one stuck at 27. But I liked what I read about the Druid + 4 rets setup for pve and rolled 3x palys to fill in the gaps. I will have fun doing quests and boosting this group while pushing the warrior to 80 before the expac. I got my loremaster on my (second) druid (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Trollbane&cn=Lowredmoon) a few days ago and I might consider getting the 3k quest achievement there also.
I am looking forward to getting the kinks worked out on the melee team to expand the comp possibilities.
About the GF. She was a Might and Magic player before I met her (2001), but I can't seem to get her to take the dive into wow. She needs a damn hobby so she stops spending $$. :p

Isn't loremaster more than 3000 quests by itself anyway? I thought it was, since my main has over 3700 quests completed not including dailies, and is still over 100 short of loremaster...
(and yes I know I have done many more quests than needed in some areas, but they should not add up to over 700)

Welcome back! Thanks for posting about the /framestack command. That's going to be useful.

I thought the whole point of a hobby was to spend money.

Maxion: If you add up the required quests to do each section of loremaster it is only about 2900. You should check and see what you are missing because it shouldn't take you long to complete it. For me I am going to do all the 5 man dungeon quests for northrend and Outland, then see where I stand for the 3k.

Oh yes, I know very well what I am missing, hehe, bit over 100 left for kalimdor is all.
I'm just surprised at the number of other quests I have done then i guess.

Yeah, you have done a crap ton of extras! Good for you though. It makes the next quest level achievement that much closer for that character (s).

Just my solo main yeah, and there aren't any after the current loremaster and 3k quests yet. Hopefully there will be in cata.

Meh, I've been thinking about coming back because I'm friggin' booooored. But on the other hand, I was pretty friggin' bored in WoW waiting for the expansion. I'm hard pressed to want to spend $100 a month to do nothing but old quests. But on the other hand, it's something to do that isn't refreshing message boards and Google News. : /
