Im just planning to start 3-boxing and I'd like to know if it works on 2 computers.
Specs:
1. Amd sempron +2600, radeon x1950pro 512mb, 4096mb ddr2
2. Amd sempron +2600, Some crappy sapphire radeon, 1mb ddr2
(Both have ubuntu linux.)
Im planning to run priest and warlock on number one and warrior on second computer.
I also would like to ask if warlock-priest-warrior combination is good for first time 3-boxing?
I would like if you post some advice too. :)

The first computer is decent, will probably have no problem running 2 copies at the same time while you play 1 on the other.
As for classes, priest + warlock is godly. I would think you'd want a class that complements/buffs the warrior better, like a paladin/shaman. That's just my opinion though.

Sure you WANT to use Linux?
I know a lot of distris and i don't know what they will do if you try to use AHK on that pc ...
and the performance of WoW w/o native support...
Sure Linux is kinda cool and i try to install one of my favorites on my machine (but the crappy asus S-ATA ... naa other story)
What i wanna say: Linux with Windows Tools is not a good combination.
Give me a kick or something if i'm wrong but i don't think the windows-id commands will work correctly.

I have been using linux but if it isnt so good for boxing I guess I need to change to windows xp (or vista?).

Vista isn't tested with some of the tools ... so don't expect to much ^^
Take WinXP ;)

i guess it depends on how you set yours up.
I set mine up with basic Synergy (non braodcast) and had it send keyboard commands to other synergy clients (Mac & Win). It works and since synergy is multiplatform, I can just use multiple OS and still spam keys out.
