I think we should give it a shot. We have a pretty unique niche, and a unique perspective on the game. Also, the way its gonna work is the entire battlenet gets access to the beta, which hopefully means that 1 beta invite may allow multiple accts to have the beta. Ya never know tho.
What do yall think?

i thought it was 10 people minimum, but im sure not everyone wants to deal with beta issues. especially people that hate leveling, cause once beta is over you have to start all over again.

Unfortunately
THIS CONTEST IS OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES Means I won't be entering, but I hope you guys give it a shot, they would be silly not to accept you (though I don't know if they are going to allow all your wow accounts to access Cata)

5. Prizes. Each week during the Contest, 100 qualified entrants will be chosen as winners of the Contest, and will be able to designate ten (10) members of their guild whose Battle.net Accounts will be activated for the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Beta Test. Activation of a Battle.net Account for the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Beta Test has no retail value. Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions or exchanges (including for cash) of any prizes will be permitted. All prizes are awarded "AS IS."
I'd like to get into beta, just to try out the classes so I can decide which I would like to play in Cata, plus I've always enjoyed the beta phase.

I've already entered us.
I'd like to have my guild considered to win a spot in the Cataclysm Beta because my guild is quite unique. My guild, Legion of Boom of Kil'Jaeden is unique because we have the largest number of multiboxers in one guild. At last count we have more than 32 active multiboxers playing 3 or more accounts, with most playing 5 accounts. This includes two ten boxers. We have a 10 man raid team.
<Legion of Boom> would be a great addition to the Cataclysm Beta testing process is because we're a technical mindset group of people. We look for the little details and we're able to troubleshoot problems rather quickly. When you're experiencing something weird in game, you want to be able to describe the issue you're having easily and precisely so that whoever is reading your bug report is able to easily understand you. I think my guild has that capability and would be a great benefit to the testing of the new expansion. Another great benefit is we have raid experience of nearly all the BC and Wrath raids with a core raid team that has progressed quite far in raiding in the current expansion. We're all experts in all the 5 man dungeons as we've all run them extensively gearing our mains, gearing our alts, or just farming achievements. We have player types from the ultra casual to the ultra hardcore, we're a well rounded guild that is eagerly awaiting the next expansion
and
18:32 <+Vecter> humm only 10 per guild
18:33 * Vecter sends Svper 20k gold.

I have also entered my 10 man guild into the contest. Hopefully at least 1 boxing guild will make it into the beta.

Awesome!
On a side note, activating you battle.net account for beta doesn't mean all your accounts can access beta, just that your battle.net login can. It will be like the Starcraft 2 beta, there will be an entry on your bNet that lets you install Cata and log in once with your bNet as the login credentials.
Pretty sure someone on the forum already confirmed this. Either way, I'd still be happy to get beta, and hopefully my key(s) will still happen.
