How many PCs do you have?
Assuming 2, you either need a USB multiplexer (not KVM) or something like keyclone, Multibox, Synergy. Most of these are listed in the stickies, Multiplexer will probably be listed on the hardware board. If its one PC with two screens, you only need something like Keyclone or AHK, to be able to send single key press' to multiple clients.

You do get the USB KVMs and you don't have to use the monitor ports on the KVM. Just plug in your mouse and keyboard into the KVM and plug the cables from keyboard1, mouse1 into pc1 and keyboard2, mouse2 into pc2.
There are some problems with USB KVMs so be careful though. They have delays when switching from one machine to another machine.
You can also look at software like Synergy that allows you to move your mouse between PCs. Yes, it is software that behaves like a KVM and as if you are running two monitors connected to the same machine. If you move the mouse onto the 2nd screen you are controlling the 2nd pc and if you move it back to the 1st screen you are controlling the 1st pc.
You can also use things like MS remote desktop that comes with the OS if you just want to run low graphics setup kinda things. I wouldn't recommend trying to run something like WoW via remote desktop.
