MC/BWL achievements done. :)

A buddy of mine and I have been doing the old world stuff for the achievements just in case any of it goes away or changes in Cataclysm. Did MC and BWL today. What an interesting run. My 5-pally group plus his pally had no problems with anything in MC. BWL was rough getting Razorgore figured out but we got him done on the 2nd try. Very chaotic fight. :P

Pretty much everything else in there was a pushover. Chromaggus was the longest/most painful fight as we forgot to keep ourselves cleansed enough and a pally got converted, wiping us the first time. Nefarian was long, but mostly because with 6 pallies, he kept doing paladin class calls, keeping nef bubbled and immune 50% of the time.

All in all, tons of fun. And I'm not at all sure I could have done it with my other groups just because of how much the paladins heal themselves while maintaining DPS and cleansing. It'll be nigh undoable once they change the cure/cleanse mechanics next patch, IMO, unless they nerf all the debuffs in there.

I have been farming BWL recently for ores, but ya, I typically bring 1 other person to handle razor for mindcontrolling. Never go past Chom latley, kinda annoying.

Saw you today when going to stormwind lol, think you were leveling up a new pally team on tauren mounts in Kargath?

lol...heya man. :) Was out there getting some of the BRS quests done. Still trying to decide if I wanna do the Loremaster achievement. Right now, I'm not motivated as I'm having too much fun actually being able to do my random heroics for the frost badges. I still have to abandon the harder stuff for all-pally groups (AN, Gundrak, HoS/HoL, etc.) but I've managed and the extra gear I'm getting is starting to pile up and make a big difference. Only real complaint with the group is that with all paladins, I lack nature resist, so some fights (like Prophet Skeram) are just complete no-gos. On the other hand, it'll all reset when Cataclysm goes live, so I'm just having fun now. :)

P.S. How much DPS do your rets put out on the heroic target dummy (or in 5-man heroics)? I'm curious how the PVP gear stacks up against the 232/T9 stuff.

I have a PVP and a PVE spec/ sets of gear. I def do more dps in my pve spec with pve gear. 4 T9, that 245 head, other stuff. I may have some pvp items mixed into my pve stuff.

Typically, 3-5k dps in heroics. Stuff dies fast. AOE packs/ multi pulls, stuff that last a little longer, I have seen up to 9k dps. I am trying to get better in arenas. Part is gear, part is just execution. I feel as though most teams we go against are full wrathful, and I am still sitting in wrarthful relentless.

Hit me up if you wanna try some 10m VOA, I rarely do it on my toons, but we could keep it to ourselves. Acidburning or Crashoveride

I've killed Nef 30 times and Rag around 40 times now :P I love doing those raids and I baiscally only need 1 friend to help with razorgore, though with locks you can do it solo. A prot pally can solo MC.
