So yesterday was close to the worst day I have had in WoW. I needed 1 more emblem (one!!!!) to get a massive upgrade and I logged in to do my daily. First dungeon was CoS, and it was a low GS group. No big deal right? I mean CoS is easy... Or so I thought. Well 5 wipes later I'm starting to get pissed off and I'm running out of time before an ICC raid. Well while I was wiping in CoS the raid leader picked up a different person. Raid didn't start for 30 mins and he didn't let me know he replaced me until the group fell apart in CoS.

So I missed the raid, fine. Guess I'll finish my daily. Get another group that's actually a high GS, proceed to wipe in HoL until it disbands..... Three dungeons later I finally finish my daily. I decide to do one more dungeon, out of boredom I guess, and I get FoS and a very high GS group. Sweet! Well first boss healer doesn't heal me when I get feared into the AOE. Group boots me without saying anything. I almost deleted all my accounts right there.

Now normally I would start to suspect I was the bad apple, but my dps was good and I didn't get anyone killed. In fact I saved a few people. I'm starting to hate people in general.

Yeah man. When you box you know exactly who to blame =P Though I will admit I am often cursing Lax when my broadcasting suddenly stops working, but its likely still something that I F'ed up hahaha.

It's funny I read that and it doesn't sound so bad, but it's hard to put in words the stress that was going on. While running CoS for that last damn emblem and trying to make that raid. I felt like I was in a three leg race and my partner was an epilectic midget, two steps forward one step back.

When I run with my room mate and I accidentally loot in combat with IWT.. I love looking at my roommate and say
"god dammit!, "~~~~" noob is looting in combat again!"

it is really nice to not have to worry about other noobs. doing COS and beating timer with 8mins to spare is nice. 1 other thing I love is to just afk whenever I feel like it! =]. do wish that they would fix the LFG achieve tho.. doesn't work when your party is premade :(

wow, were you solo boxing just to punish yourself?

I don't mind solo boxing my healers ... until I get a 3300 GS tank and draw agro on my first heal.

I only solo box when I have to gear a new tank or main toon that cannot be geared with pvp items. That also helps getting the LFG achievement on that tank toon.

Once your tank is geared properly you need no other people at all unless you are going to raid ICC, ToC or Ulduar.

For all the other raid instances you can just get some randoms to help or try 5 box them if you want once you have all your team in T9 gear.

On my druids team I still don't know if I will gear the tank with T9 gear or pvp gear all the team together. Being druid tanks uncritable via talents, it looks like a stack stamina stuff for the tank.

I can honestly say that I clear dungeons with more speed and efficiency when multiboxing then If I play just 1 toon.

Solo boxing heroics with 4 other guildies from a H ICC 25 capable guild is very fun. 7 min heroics lol, the mobs just fall over, I don't think the pally tank even stops moving really. :P

But, multiboxing heroics is alot of fun as well, specially when your guild gets spammed with your achievements. And as Myc stated, afking whenever you want :)

Running pugs/LFD its amasing how bad and smooth each run can go. Sometimes you get a group that totally crush an instance, and sometimes you get a group where it takes 3 times as long. And its not always due to GS of the people in the group.

I had a run in AN? the short instance, where the healer on the final boss got locked out of the "ring". So here we are, 3 dps and a tank.

We beat the boss, but only thanks to me healing myself occationel and using a tranquility at the right time. That was an epic fun fight :D
