When looking at Ellay's new Kara video on his main page, I noticed the mod that shows the casting bar of each character underneath each name within the party unit frames.

Does anyone know what this mod is? I will have my new 5box rig running soon and want to do a bit of a revamp on my mods.

Is that mod pitbull? I tried using that once and found it hard to import other players' templates and found it not very intuitive when trying to create your own.

I use PitBull, and it does support casting bars on the party frames. There definitely are a lot of configuration options for PitBull, which is a bit daunting.

if its like mine (on my druids window): http://users.on.net/~opt/worldofoptcraft.jpg
I use XPearl Unit Frames for that.

Don't look too closely at the super-strobing-ultra-flashtacular button that corresponds to his lightning bolt... We're going to assume that he is going to suffer with severe carpal tunnel soon and not using some sort of forbidden scripting device.

Right? :)

I use XPearl Unit Frames for that.Excellent. Thats exactly what I was looking for (though I'd set mine up a bit differently that you). I've never used X-Perl, but I heard it's a lot easier to set up than Pitbull.

He's using agUF for his unit frames. It is a lot easier to set up than Pitbull but is missing party targets at the moment. They are supposed to be added in the next major version release.

agUF is to Pitbull what Perl Classic is to X-Perl. agUF and Perl Classic are solid frames that take a minimal amount of time to set up, but aren't as bloated as Pitbull and X-Perl.

X-Perl is kind of in the middle, it has a lot of options but is still pretty easy to get up and going with. Pitbull is extremely configurable but takes a while to setup because it has sooo many options it's hard to stop tweaking it.

Xperl is definitely "easier" to set up, but Pitbull can be tweaked like crazy. I use Pitbull atm, but I found xperl to be a memory hog and im very particular with my UI
