upgrading from trial

I tried a trail account level some toons to 20 and now I want to upgrade the trail account but it wont accept my credit card,
Ive tried phoninig every hour for the last 3 days now and instead of getting a hold on the line,

Blizzard say that they are extremely busy have a wonderful day and phone back some other time. I dont get a hold just cuts off.
Ive sent an email to them on the 31st and still I havent got any replies...

How can i contact Blizzard if I get hold of them?

Looks like im gonna have to buy World of Warcraft Battle Chest
can i use that and still get recuit a friend deal?

Blizzard are a pain in the next tbh, I tried to upgrade an trail account with my UK creditcard and they say i cant use that anymore >.<

"Any credit card used must be from within the supported North American region (the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia or Thailand). Any credit card with a billing address residing outside of this region will be rejected from our system, regardless of your current geographical location. In addition, the billing address of the credit card should match that of the World of Warcraft account."

You have to laugh dont you, coz they still can take out the monthly fee for my wifes and my account but they cant give me a dam upgrade..

Took them a week to get back in contact with me, they suggested to do a few things first but all of them failed.

Humm, never happens to me.
I get like instant response. Same with emails my dad got hacked 3 mondays ago,
i mailed blizz10 o clock, called when them 10:30 and had a mail 1 sec before the call got accepted.
So it was like a double win situation and we had all the items back within the hour, really awsome.


As for my experience with there billing security,
after my dad got hacked we wanted to switch to the authenticator.
So hey lets put 2 in the chart and for the hack of it throw in a box of trading cards!

But once we got to the check-out i found out they only accept credit cards...??
That's just bullsh*t i'm 19..i work 24 hours a week i dont even want a damn credit card yet.

So hey now i'm stuck with my unsecured battle net account.

off topic, but you should get a credit card to start establishing a credit history... hell, just put your WoW subscriptions on it and then stick it in the freezer (something I heard old ladies do) and don't use it for anything else
