Does anyone have any macros for spam looting?

as it is, assist main and then interact with target can be a little slow... something like a dead tab targetting could work right?

well, you can use a n52 bound to your assist with target and then interact with target on the same key press. the tos is one key press per action, but I don't think targeting a toon is considered an actual action, as you can have macros that spam the bg looking for enemy names and that is technically one key press. its gray water, but its the closest thing I know to legit play

Fastest way to loot as a multiboxer is divide the pile of mobs up into quarters and have a different toon loot each quarter. Other than that, no real way to "speed up" looting.

Well if I have a bunch of mobs on the ground, I can use IWT and spam the different corpses.... this will have my guys running all over the place trying to loot. Other than that, I don't know of any fast ways to loot.

You might have overlooked IWT looting if your doing a melee team, since obviously looting like that will make you accidentally loot (and perhaps skin/herb a corpse) during combat and if you are spamming too aggressively you can get stuck looting a corpse.

I use a meta key off my IWT key that round robin IWT for looting. It seems work ok and lets me skin and so forth. Also it distributes the loot across the slaves nicely.

I keep it on FFA while running by myself, then Group with others. I just loot everything on my main, aside from quest items, and when my main's bags get too full, I just stop and trade grays to slaves and greens/blues to enchanter to DE. I've got 4x20 slot bags on my whole team, so unless I go long periods of time without hitting up the vendors, I hardly run out of bag space. But even when looting trash mobs, I found it faster for me to do it this way than try to get slaves to loot with me, even when grinding SM and other old world instances.

I just have everyone IWT on all lootable corpses. The loot gets more or less distributed evenly, eventually everyone gets whatever quest items they need, and I never worry about bag space

Having an N52 macro that sends an assist key and then IWT is perfectly fine.

Hi, I've created the following macro:

http://img6.immage.de/2503b986iwinii.jpg

the macro causes a simultanous keypress of shift v and g, meaning key "a" is being pressed by "B" and C" at the same time (b and c standing for toons most likely), I'm using this for interact with target and some other ability simultanously although it does not repeat anything - is it okay to use such a macro?

#e(dit) interact with target is a function to be found under the targeting section of the keybindings
Hello Kruschpak,

the player Bubalus gave you the correct answer. It would be perfectly fine for you to use the earlier mentioned macro.
