Howdy all,

I have been trying to get ISBoxer setup for a couple of weeks now and I am thinking, my original setup is the problem, but I do not know how to get around it.

When I am raiding and such on a solo toon, I use all of the toolbars with hot keys. For Example, the original buttons are now, all on the number pad. I also use Shift and Home, Page Up, Page Down, and End on the number pad. The bottom left toolbar is ~ - 5, then Shift ~ - Shift 5, the bottom right toolbar I only use some of the hot keys, The two toolbars on the right hand side I use several of those as well. After spending quite a bit of time reading other peoples ways of getting things done, I am unable to get much setup. I am able to invite my toons to a group, the can follow my main, even after switching windows, they can auto attack, but that is the limit to what I can do.

I have been using keyclone for a while and what I do there is simple. I 3 box hunters. They all have the same spec and keyboard layout. I use the 3 and 4 keys above the letters on the keyboard, for assist and follow. I am then able to use the entire keyboard for all of the spells and movements that I do when I am solo. The only reason I am trying ISBoxer, is I like the fact that I am switch windows and everyone follow and assist that toon.

I am hoping someone can point out what I am either over looking as far as getting ISBoxer setup, or, what I am wanting to do is not possible and I should just go back to Keyclone full time.

So is your question how to add auto-assist + broadcast keys to the 1 through = that are there by default?

What it boils down to is "I want to press ____, and have it press ____ in the other window". You can do that as many times for as many different keys as you want, with or without the auto-assist. You can copy existing mapped keys in the "FTL DPS Keys" map like so:
1. In the top pane under Key Maps, select "FTL DPS Keys"
2. In the bottom left pane, right click "DPS 1" and select "Make Copy"
3. Rename the copy
4. Click the < button by the Hotkey on the right. This is how you activate the mapping, and it doesn't have to be similar in any way to what it sends to the other window.
5. Expand your new hotkey in the bottom left so you can see Steps, 1 under it, then click on 1
6. On the right you'll see 2 Actions in the Step. The top one handles the auto-assist, leave that alone unless you want to remove auto-assist from this key (in which case just delete it). The bottom one says "1 -> all", select that and change the Key Combination to what you want it to press after assisting. If you only want specific windows to press this key, change the Target, otherwise all windows will do it.

That's it, you can File, Export and ISBoxer will reload this and let you use the new mapping in game immediately.

The default attack keys with IS Boxer, are in the FTL DPS Keymap.
They are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0, -, and =.

When you push any of these, the slaves first assist the main.
And then all windows push the same key.

Looking at these mapped keys, you could easily change both the hotkey (to activate) and the output (when activated) to numpad keys or whatever else you'd like.

Expand the Keymaps in the top pane, and left click on the Keymap.
Then in the lower left pane, click on a given mapped key.
On the right pane, you can see the hotkey for this mapped key.
Back in the left pane, if you expand Steps under the mapped key and then click on 1.
In the right pane, you can see what happens when the mapped key is activated.

The easiest would be to start your profile from scratch.
But you adapt IS Boxer hotkeys and output keys, etc, to work with any set of hotkeys you'd like.
