Hi everyone,

my wife and me will start another team. She will 2-box Prot-Pally
and Priest (for Healing).

I will 3-box the DPS, but im undecided what to pick, im just sure that i WONT
box 3 Shamans.
I thought about taking 3 Mages for some nice DPS.
But i would like to hear some opinions on it.

Just dont forget that i just have to box the DPS :)

Thanks in Advance.

Greetings Hertome

mages are a nice but the downtime for drinking all the time is just a pain in the ass?

why not try shamans? what have u against them?, 3 shamans are fun to play with!! U have the option of rolling on mail, leather and cloth, easier to gear them up quick

Moonkin style druids might be ur cup of tea!

Alot of ppl have be rolling with ret pallies...

We alreday have a team with 3 shamans, which are played by ma wife
while i tank/heal. thats why i want to avoid another shamanteam.

3 mages can definitely be a lot of fun :)

I'd say 3 mages or 3 warlocks.

Or melee, 3 rets or 3 DK's.

I'm boxing 3 moonkins, i can honestly tell u it's awsome.
They bring so much to the table that u wont get by playing another class x3.
Shaman would ofcourse bring heroism alter on.
but u already got a paladin and priest, bringing 3 druids would really make it a nice setup.

Downside on moonkins is the lower lvl's take so much mana breaks.
how ever 3x innervate 3x br can be very usefull.

Druids are awesome. Have a pally tank, resto druid, and 3 boomkins as my team. We're a force to be reckoned with for sure. You also can spec a druid into any 3 of the holy trinity- tank/dps/healer. That layer adds a lot also.

How about boomkin / mage / lock?

Thanks for all the hints!

I decided and rolled a Hunter/Mage/Shaman Trio.

They are lvl 12 now :) We will see how they do later on.

I think this will be fun. DPS for each class is great, but i will be
tricky to box them i think.

I also picked this classes, because they all can be draeneis, so we have
a draenei only team with pally and priest.

Sounds great, it will indeed be a little bit more tricky then playing 3 druids for example.

I'm rolling a warrior + 2 mages on grim batol.
Not sure if i should stick with 2 mages or put 2 locks/Hunters behind the warrior.

I can't wait to see how your team will do later on,

Good luck.

hunter/mage/shaman doesn't seem like a terribly complimentary team...

I two boxed a shaman/mage, but changed to lock/mage when the mage hit 80. My guildies (my kids, haha) are farming heroics and raids with this combo. Nice DPS with a mage/lock combo.

I've got a small team of 3 locks sitting at 29 waiting for their rested experience to cap. They deal out some damage. I easily do quests 4 levels above me. 3 voidies tanking mobs while you dot, tap, drain life... repeat. No real need to buy water, but you can't quite effectively drain tank at this level. I can't wait for siphon life next level. Drain tanking should become a lot easier then. When my main (a lock) was 70, I could just about drain tank the entire Charred Rise. I made a ton of gold that way. So locks would be a good choice for fast leveling, especially in heirlooms.

I'm also 3 boxing a Boom/ele sham/ele sham squad. They are at 61. NPC's and Players alike die fairly quick. I've got all 3 knock backs on round robin. I drive with the boomer and use standard click macros for each. The shammies go OOM before the druid does.
