What would you say the problem is if your cpu crashes frequently? My anti-virus program states there are no viruses, i run real-time anit-spyware protection, i have a firewall. The cpu OS is Windows ME, so this cpu is pretty old. 20 GB hard drive.

What do you mean the "CPU" crashes frequently?

Is your computer hard rebooting on its own? I had that problem on an older PC and it was an overheating issue. Also, Windows ME is HORRIBLE, you'd be better off upgrading to xp (or 2k or 98 or anything but ME lol)

Better off just getting a new computer.
