Is there anyway to view new post's since last visit. I really need the old way of doing it. This whole Unread posts un-replied threads 24/hr thing Im not liking it. I wish it were simple. Can we like be able to choose some option via our account to have different skins. I really want to go back to the old view, its just easy to be able to get at new posts instead of seeing 18 pages on Unread Posts. Get what I am saying?

The green arrow pointing down to the left of the thread title jumps you to first unread post in the thread.

I know what you are saying. These new forums are nice but I'm not used to it yet either.

I agree it is still a bit clunky. Part of it is getting used to it but it feels like it lacks "polish" with respect to finding new threads.

I know what you are saying. These new forums are nice but I'm not used to it yet either.I don't want that. I want to be able to have it be like it was.. Like being able to come to the site crack down on some threads help people out. Be able to close the window come back a bit later and see ONLY new posts and replys to other threads not a fat list of threads I have already seen or are not even replyed to.

There is a mark forum read button, once you do that to all forums to indicate you've looked at them all the new post tracking seems pretty solid.

there are still a few bumps to iron out, but overall the new forums are pretty sweet. :thumbsup:

if zanthor is right, then all you need is a button to mark all posts as 'read'.. which will reset all posts and only highlight those you need to read.

and we get cool little smilies 8)

Smilies suck and I agree, I miss the old setup...having to mark the forum read every damn time I visit is a waste of time and you might mark something that's replied to as you're doing so =\ Came in to work this morning and everything I didn't go through is still marked unread...ugh

Not to mention if I try to post it doesn't ask me to login first...it just gives me a username slot and a security code I can't read half the time to put in lol

Hmmm I am confused. From what I understand is that once you mark the Read All button its like starting fresh. Now after each time I read a thread, post or not it will only give me an arrow if someone else posts. New posts/threads will be marked with an arrow. If this is the case, this is Not happening and I did mark them.
