View Full Version : Is there any way to get jamba or quest helper to

Is there anyway to get jamba or quest helper to have a toon announce to party every time they pick up an item for the gather quest plus the number total?

Ex: "Bubbles2: Red Bandana 3/15"

I thought that quest helper used to do this but it must have been some other mod.

Can't remember if its quest helper or quest guru but one of them has an option to announce quests in the chat of your choosing. I think its guru

Jamba used to do it. I've got to add the functionality back in.

You can try BackSeatQuester... (its old but still works apparently, just check load out of date addons).

I 2nd, 3rd and all the way up to 5th, recommend backseatquester. It is simple, and it helps a lot with making sure you get your quests "Done" on your alts.

I use QuestsFu for this stuff and have it announce to party chat. If I have any questions about who has what, I just scroll up. :P

Quest helper did this for me when I levelled my last team. Haven't had the need for it in a while though, so can't testify to it still working.

coooool. Will check it out. BSQ looks quite good, but since I already have Fubar installed might give this a try

BSQ doesn't work for me (the screen showed only the one quest the druid had that the paladin didn't)

However I realized that although it doesn't announce, if I hover my mouse over the dead corpses of the correct mobs the tooltip will tell me what each toon has total in terms of the quest items so I'm just doing that.

BSQ need to be enabled on the slaves to share the info. .. only played with it for a couple of mins. Not questing atm
