2 5-boxers completed malygos10. Shabu's team just hit 80 a week and a half ago (he's sitting at like 3800 gs). i've been 80 for about 2 months, and my alts are in the 4800s.
Phase 1: I tanked, set all my dps to follow shabu (he grabbed sparks and positioned alts), and I left my healer stationary in the center in order to create a sense of stability in tank healing. I dragged malygos around constantly so that the sparks could be stacked easily in the center. Used cooldowns frequently and loosely. Vortex brought Shabu's alts to around 50 hp everytime. Needless to say, he was not well enough geared for this fight lol.
Phase 2: Pretty easy phase when you control everyone. Destroyed this phase in about a minute on average. Usually used the extra sparks to zerg down some circling discs before the ground ones. Pretty easy in total.
Phase 3: My team and shabu's alts dps'd the boss. I went with stacks of 4 and then the finisher in order to preserve the stacks. Shabu healed alone. We didn't use any shields, and we just moved out of sparks. We had 2 deaths in this phase due to broken follow in a spark. This is the hardest phase, imo.
We ended up killing the boss in just under 8 minutes (about 2 minutes to enrage, 2.5 minutes to spare). This took about an hour of practice before we mastered it. It is a really fun fight when you control all the elements! :D
