Sorry if this has been answered before, but I could not find it anywhere. My aim is a really simply setup so I can level a toon to 60 really quickly on an alt account. Duel-boxing itself is not my end goal.

Basically, all I want is to be able to send commands from one keyboard to two computers. So is there any such thing as a USB cord that has one input and two outputs--I guess like the opposite of a USB hub? My guess is that there is not since I have not been able to find one, but thought I might as well ask.

I have no idea why this is a problem, but as you can probably guess, I am terrible with computers.

I looked at some cheap KVM things, but they seem to just switch between computers, and obviously I want to use two computers at the same time.

There is no such a usb thing. Someone was working on one but it didnt work ...

I am sure our community would buy them by the ton if there was.

Im thinking you can use and usb to rf transmitter to a rf reciver (or any non wire transmitter/reciver) to usb to get around the power stuffs and mount both in a single package.

Obviously has to be home built at this time though.

i doubt you still need info but someone might

all you need for this is one wireless keyboard and order an extra receiver sync them both and bam you have one keyboard control two PCS in game ... gets tricky when you want to talk in chat channels though

but if all your gonna do is run two toons a two keyboard auto follow set up is really easy to do in any mmo ... particularly for all you want it for but you will get addicted :P

its how i started in EQ over a decade ago ... now i have 1000 dollar vetra systems laying around unused form hardware boxing heh

Several of us did, including wireless mice. It worked fine for basic multiboxing. Personally, I ditched that when Octopus became available as it has built-in KM functionality as well, which was much more effective than switching to a wired kb/mouse when I wanted to do something on a single PC.
