Hi Guys,

I got a hardware question

Yesterday my 3x 66 Shaman team has done some outdoor PvP -> Slying a couple of 70th :D
But my System goes down to 5-8fps on the toons and 10-20fps on the main.

I'm useing AMD Athlon 3500+ (Single Core) 3GB Ram and a ATI x1800 graficcard
This system works good enough for Instance Runs ~30fps but outdoor pvp.. :(

Could I get more fps with a new graficcard or is now way past an dual core?

So the next question -> Team setup

I play rightnow 3x Shamans i enjoy it and I play Shamans since closed beta -> i love that class
But I have decided to reroll on another server -> More Multiboxer and some other friends.
I wount give up my shamans so i play both teams
but again all the leveling stuff with 3 Shamans? no way.. need other class :D

I was thinking about 3 Mages
But would it be worth to get 1Pala (Prot/Holy) to aoe tank all mobs heal myself and 2 mages are going to bomb them away
Maybe 1pala for aoe tanking 1 Mage vor aoe damage 1 priest vor aoe heal?

i will play with an dual boxer for instance but he wait with his class as far as i get my decision.

Help me :D

3 mages
1 pala 2 mages
1 pala 1 mage 1 priest
???[/b]

Team Doublemint has heaps of vidoes on Pal/2x Mages. They look like heaps of fun and he seems to do extremely well.

You will do want rez/heal at your disposal.

I'm VERY happy with how the Pally/Mage/Mage team turned out and all along the way I never had much trouble with needing heals. I had a priest with me much of the time so I was able to go Prot, but in many situations I found myself 3 boxing instead of running with my girlfriends pally...

The long and short of it is the extra healer was a waste unless we were REALLY pushing content. Spec a paladin Holy enough to get so with concentration aura you can't be interupted on heals and you are golden.

Regarding the hardware question, you should probably open up task manager with wow running and see what the CPU/mem usage is like when you're seeing the slowdown in performance. If you aren't pegged out at 100% cpu, then adding a better video card would probably help. I think with your specs, you probably can get by with a better video card.
