I just got setup dual boxxin 2 shaman. what fun, but my only issue i cant figure out, is how to not chat with both charaters. I keep double spamming people in my guild and etc.

Anyone been able to fix this?

You can set up a key to quickly turn off broadcasting. I use MultiBox, and I am sure you can do this with Synergy or a hardware set up (my friend has Vetras and can disable broadcasting).

I assign my key to the tilde (~) key. When I want to single chat, I hit that button and type away. You just need to remember to toggle back if you are fighting to spam your macros.

Interesting. The only way I "disable" my mulicaster is through my KM switch whereone port is connected to the multiplier and the others are connected to each individual computer.

I had no idea you can just simply disable broadcasting to affect only one keyboard.

The only other advice I can give is to get a wireless usb keyboard that you can use to chat with in guild / channels when you don't want to spam.

Can you make enter not do anything on one and then change the macros you send to ctrl + something?

Cant you just change this in the keybindings menu?

Or have the guild leader mute one guy?

I just switch to a KVM port only going to that machine.

Easy fix example:

--> 2nd box keybind for Open Chat --> change to "`" (that's the single-quote under the tilde (~) key if you can't see it that well)
--> Both boxes keybinds for Open Chat Slash --> Change to "]"

Now, when you want to type, just press enter and it will open the chat box on your main only. THen when you want to type slash commands, press "]" and type in your "/dance" or whatever.

I'm assuming the second one will work as I don't have Open Chat Slash changed from default (not needed with my hardware setup).
