What are the best proffesions a AH toon can have? I am imagining enchanting and alchemy but I am sure others have a different take.
Thanks!

Tradeskills on mules is a waste, all skills are level capped so you have to level to access the higher level (and money making) parts of the skill
I like enchanting, but alas cost alot for a bank toon and at level 1 not very usefull.
JC would be nice if you were a higher level also.
Inscription for Milling is a nice one also.. but high level would be best.
alchey for CDs - high level
so really depends on your bank toons level.
if it is only level 1? then.... enchanting.../...........
also depends on what your other characters can do, unless your bored / running out of bag space on mains.. not much point n leveling a 2nd enchanter/inscription/jc. unless you were higher level to do dailies /cooldowns.

I probably should have mentioned that my AH toon is level 65. Level 68 is only a weekend away. The toon already has 375 Enchanting. I see opportunities when I use auctioneer and was wondering what was the best approach. Alchemy? Jewelcrafting? Those 2 seem very good for an AH toon.

There's really not such a big advantage in leveling a proff on a banker instead of an active char. Since you need rep for quite some patterns etc and you waste the buffs the proffesion gives. I wouldn't recommend it to say atleast.

It would be dependent on your main source of AH income is from. If you are heavily into inscription then having your AH toon able to mill the herb before your main Scribe makes the glyphs may help. Having mining, you can take advantage of the smelt ore into bars market. Jewelcrafting you will need to run the daily to be able to make the best usage of. Alchemy would allow you to buy herbs and craft/post immediately.

I've got two AH toons, one does the Jewelcraft stuff.
The other does the selling of everything else.
The JC toon is 80th, with 450 JC and 447 Inscription.
One of two toons, without Alchemy... but didn't want to drop the Inscription.
The other toon is 68th, with 450 Enchanting and 450 Alchemy.
Most BoE's are disenchanted, as mats cost nothing to list and non-epics don't sell well on my server.

I just use DK's as bank toons - simply so my AH/bank toon can mount up and ride between banks and AH's.
No profs - my team has all them covered.

I never thought about using a Death Knight. I guess if you want to max out crafting proffs like JC on most of your toons you have to do dailies with to get the best recipes for gem selling, leveling a DK to 65 or whatever and use them to just DE greens and sell that won't get you much gold from vending. Still alot of low level enchantments on my server sell well that don't have the level restrictions for twinks. Armor Vellums are cheap and mats can be farmed from level 20- instances or even SM. I netted hundreds of greens from farming Cath over and over power leveling my toons.
