GB ninja'd

The guildbank has been ninja'd by Overdose. I asume and somewhat hope he got hacked, how wrong it may sounds. He was online today but as far as i know he's in a break. Was swapping to his banker a couple of times. he didn't take any gold though, since he can't

So Overdose, if you read this and you did got hacked please tell us.

Wokomehee, please ticket a GM to get the materials restored, since only the Guild Master can do that. And maybe you/we should talk about how we want to prevent this. Prob putting a max of 5 withdrawals a day.

No big issues if you ask me, There wasn't that much stuff on there 2k gold max or so? Only some cloth bags and gems. Just mainly annoying.

This always sucks, it has happened to the LoB bank a few times, and once since I've been GM. Make sure you tell the GMs in the ticket that you suspect the guildies account to have been hacked. they'll investigate / lock the accounts for that person. Most recently, Alemi's accounts were hacked and raided our bank, the GMs had everything back to us in about a day and let me know they secured Alemi's accounts.

I know it's not perfect, but I'm GM of my guild on my server (no one multiboxes but me, so a "normal" guild) and we've instituted a No Authenticator, No Bank Access policy. I highly recommend it.

I have made a ticked to GM. Max stacks to withdraw each day is set to 5 atm. I think Overdose got hacked for sure, hes on a break atm, and he is a nice guy.

have to say don't no how secure the authenticator is but i have it and it seems
very good and I wouldn't no how to hack it so would have expected overdose especially as a boxer
to have it already, silly overdose :P

If anybody needs more from the bank, they can always ask one of the higher members to get it for them.

Should be fine, It's not such a big deal if you ask me. It might chance if GB is more actively used, but atm it's annoying that woko has to make a ticket to get the stuff back and that it probably need to get sorted again, but that's about it.

Im really really sorry, my account did got hacked indeed. I used an authenticator on my account and then i got a message of my virusscan telling me i had a virus. I'm sorry for the loss, i hope GMs can still restore the items.

Hows the guild going by the way?

Edit: I'm glad the items have been restored. I also got my account back already for a while already now :)

something simular happened on my gbank on previous server. bliz had everything back to my gm toon within 2 days, sucked that I had to put everything back into gbank manually though, wtb portable mailbox to place next to gbank portals when account is hacked?

Guild still growing, that kinda sums it up. Nothing happened really, besides a raid on some Alliance cities and 1 or 2 boxers who joined. We need a new Funk to setup some PVE stuff for the people interested.

I think the quote was aimed at the fact that even with an authenticator attached to his account he still got hacked, so while they are a nice money earner for blizzard (the physical one that is) it still doesn't guarantee 100% security on your account.
