Refer-A-Friend Rocket Mount Update

Time is running out for those who wish to claim their Zhevra, as the launch of the X-53 Touring Rocket is now scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, April 27! If you’ve fulfilled all of the Recruit-A-Friend requirements necessary to claim a mount now but choose not to claim the Zhevra, you will be able to claim the X-53 Touring Rocket instead once it launches. Sounds like they’re firing it up for a final test run now....

I never claimed my zebras.

I had 2 accounts and expanded to 5 accounts, so I should be getting 3 of these.

Which is perfect, I could fit all my toons plus a friend.

Maybe I'll get the others a rocket too :)

So if the one with the rocket has cold weather flying and artisan speed and the passenger has nothing the passenger can still ride based upon the owners skillz?

If so this is great to get 3 people (two mounts) over to some spot with one being a warlock and then transfer everyone there.

And yes you can take your lowbies around on it without cold weather flying in Northrend.

And yes is takes the skill of the owner of the rocket, so with my 310% speed I can take my level 75 around Northrend at that speed.

So you can jump on the rocket in the air as the second person - from mount to mount.

Also, if I eject someone, if they are quick, they can jump back in. Pretty cool.

If anyone enjoys showing off their mounts, then here is a nice tip!

While on your rocket above the well in Dalaran, press s+insert

This will cause your toon to fly in circles vertically.


I did this for a few hours with my 3 rockets while watching some stuff on Hulu.

The tells I got were hilarious, ranging from "Oh man that's awesome!" to "Oh man look at this sad virgin" haha. Good times.

go to your RAF section (it redirects you off battle.net -> worldofwarcraft.com and it should list acct name u refered...
if not then u got unlucky and did it when wasnt a promotion?.

but for me.. I have 5 'wow' accts on 1 'battle.net' acct. I linked my own 'wow' accts to each other and got the rewards.

Is the rocket still available to redeem after the RAF time runs out? I have three accounts chained, and the second one hasn't paid for his second month to enable the rocket for my main's account. My RAF time is expiring in a week, but his account isn't due to pay until after that.

yeah I got my rocket on long expired raf - it was a zhevra a while back but I waited and I'm glad I did

Ya me also but he hasn't paid before the time has run, ya if he paid before the time runs then for sure like us he would get it, but not paying before the time runs I don't know.

In fact my main account still has 4 more rewards to redeem ...
