5 Boxing Shamans - Quests or Instances?

I've always had a ton of computers (9 at the time of this post) and used them to run several accounts at once but after reading this site and learning how easy it is to control 5+ toons in wow I decided to have a go at 5 Boxing Shamans.

I've got them all to level 8 last night and its goin smooth, just running the quest lines in the Tauren starting area. My question is how long should I run quests lines and when would I be better off jumping in 5 man instances.

When I get them all to level 10 should I head off to ogrimaar and jump in the noob instance and start grinding elites?

We play on Arthas USA server and if there are any Horde 5 boxers that would like to team up with me and do 10 mans later let me know.


My old setup, needs updating as I have 3 new computers now and replaced the old dells. Once I get my new monitor mounts to make PvP more friendly I will post new pictures.

To the OP though, I would do a mix of both, try and do grinding quests then mix it up with some instances. Starting at level 10 should be fine too, just make sure you do it at the right time (lvl).

I've heard of that guild when I played on Arthas about 2 years ago. I think one of my ex-guildmates (Phrost?) played in that guild for a while. The queue got absurd though, 400+ every night, so I left the server.

deciding between group of pure warlocks, shamans or do mages / 1 priest ...

would you say which one would be easiest to level for a starter?

i do think it's easyer to lv with 5 caster/shamans
but if you add in 1 healer it'll be a weeee bit harder. but in the end... the group healing could save you

From my experience, I would say a 4xlock/1x priest is the easiest for leveling. I am 5 boxing shamans at the moment. While it isn't hard to level shamans, the locks have a lot of things going for them :)

I'd say questing is easy on both groups, while instancing will be easier with the locks/priest.
