I am fed up with two things on my current server. 1st is my ping! I use all the tricks to lower pings and have went from 300-400pings to 150-200. That still sucks! I never knew about the importance of sever/data center locations when i started playing wow, and how they effect your game play or dps.

2nd. I'm horde and we have very long BG ques times and the horde on our server are really bad at PvP

Ok I live in Phoenix Az and have made level 1 toons on several LA data center servers ( closest physical location to me ) Out of those i am looking for anyone who might have horde on a PvE realm in the BLOODLUST or CYCLONE battle groups. My ping was 45-65 on all the PvE servers in both those battlegroups! So any would work.

What I am wanting to know, from someone who has horde teams on one of those Battlegroups, are the following:
How are BG ques times for horde? How is your server win/loss ratio for horde in BGs and WG? Looking for a balance.. not horde OR alliance dominating. When its too easy, that gets boring. When you lose 70-90% of the time sucks hard as well. Thx in advance for any info!

I live in Arizona as well and I play on an LA based server. I get 40-80ms ping consistently. I think the Seattle datacenter would be similar though, may only be one extra hop, if that.

On Nathrezim we win 90% of WG because of the faction imbalance. Battlegroup is Reckoning - random BG queue is 4-10 minutes usually for Horde. I can't honestly see a bias on battleground results though, no matter how much I thought we sucked, once I installed a battleground stat mod I figured it to be around 50% give or take, depending on the battleground.

What is the mod?

And I am so jealous of you guys. I am lucky if I can use lowerping to get my connection to 180ms-220ms. Normally its 300ms-400ms. Thats normal for people in Australia. Some people get even higher of 500-600ms.

And you'd be surprised, you can play quite well at those pings if you've never known any better. Unfortuantly there is a massive ocean between us and the US so well, not alot can be done about that. :P

Good luck finding a low ping server. I am most jealous!
