Thanks to everyone in the guild thats stepped up to help us in the past month. When we kill Arthas, it will have been a guild effort.

What the hell happened to the epic mel gibson speach that got me pumped up and had me knocking out people in my office?? :(

At anyrate, I just wanted to say thanks for giving me the opportunity to raid with you guys, I am glad I took the chance and transfered to play with people I have never talked to or played with before.

Why I raid.

For a really long time I raided to see content, I raided to see the epic battles I had read all the lollore about. For a long time I was content to raid with friends and not really care how well we did or how far we made it. When I started DiT on Madoran it was to get away from a hardcore 25 man guild. We went into DiT with a casually hardcore 10 man mindset. For a while we were in the top 5 for strict 10s on Madoran. After the move to Kil'Jaeden and after everything that slowly fell into place that allowed a lot of Madoran DiT to rejoin us on Kil'Jaeden we started up again. We weren't raiding as much, but we were just as serious about it. We embraced the LoB guys that were brave enough to run with us and I'm very thankful for those that were able to step up, and keep up with us. You guys make my job that much easier. It hasn't been easy, we've rolled with the punches and at the very worst times we've had the right people around us to step up and help us back up. I'm immensly grateful to those people who save their raid lockouts to see if we need them. I'm very grateful for the people who constantly ask how we're doing, the people that want to see our streams and videos. In the grand scheme of things, we're not doing anything special or unique. The most important thing to me is that we're clearing current content. That may not seem like much, but it's a small goal ever since I started DiT.

We're all pretty high on our latest kill, Sindragosa. We lost a key member of our team pretty suddenly and it set us back. I can't thank enough, the people that stepped up to fill in gaps to continue letting us raid, and even more so the people that transfer in to raid with us. We're going to need this high to carry us until we kill The Lich King and I think it will. I have huge hopes and goals for us. We've once again proven we can overcome anything thrown in our path from a RNG cockblocking boss to losing a key member that was with us from the start. I wish she could have been there, it was classic DiT overcoming a huge obstacle, and it wasn't even the final boss. It was the feeling when we got FL+4, the feeling when we got Yogg, the feeling when we got many of our first hard mode ulduar kills, and the feeling when we cleared ToC for the first time. Overcoming a challenge with a team of people where failure is as much fun as success is a very special environment and I'm very glad to be apart of it.

Thanks to everyone that supports us, saves lockouts for us, taunts us, and chills in vent with us even as I nerdrage when we do dumb stuff. When we kill The Lich King, it will most definetely be a <Legion of Boom> victory, not just a <Death is Temporary> victory. Our next boss kill screenshot will be a dead Arthas, and I can't wait to post it.
