I have experimented with sooooo many trial account I am FINALLY ready to take the leap of faith and buy everything!
Here is my situation:
Badass computer = too lazy to list out specs but I can have 40 on at least 4 with high detail.
+
I have 2 accounts with Wrath (one is my main with 80s and the other is my brothers account that he never used and I took over YEARS ago [In my name and Bnet])
and 2 sets of battlechests coming.
That makes a total of 4 accounts
I have keyclone (Have heard better form other programs but I have experience with this program :\)
and would like to run a 4 shammy team. (Might experiment later but I want at least this team to 60 first.)

Anywho I have a few questions:

1. With 2 standing accounts and 2 incoming accounts, how should I setup my RaF links?
I plan on using the (A-c B-d) (A,B= existing;c,d=new)
I only want to have 4 accounts for that I can have all 4 accounts leveling shaman and queuing for randoms with 3 dps and a healer (healers 1-60 are instance on my battlegroup)
Is this a good idea?

2. Also, since I am not using my main for powerlveling (RaF links wouldnt work out with only 4 accounts) should I level horde? I really enjoy horde more and would make 80 a lot easier, BUT I will have no gold and gifts from my 80.
Is this a good idea or should I suck it up and roll spacegoats?

3. Related to question 2, does anyone know of a good 1:1 horde:alliance server? I want to roll horde but my home server consists of a 7:1 ratio (I play alliance O.O). Also, would a 7:1 server be fun to be the underdogs? b/c idk if anyone has experienced the shorter end of the stick...but hell, theres 4 of me! xD

4.I am running dual screens of 1650x1050 (24`` each). I know I should use one full and then 3 smaller but a blank space in my screen would bug me a ton! My only Idea is to make the top one really fat andthe smalelr two standard ¼s and have the large half to be my healer or something. Any idea, or should I just stick to dealing with my blank spot?

5. Questing or instancing? Or pay someone (would could be retarded) to farm instances for me? (Note I am running a 4 shammy comp with instant healer pops [If I stay on my home server]

I think thats all for now. Hope someone can help me ^.^

play what you like, tho starting out from scratch sucks balls. I'd make a DK and 3 shaman dps imo, dk can help level the shamans to catch up, and makes a great tank for the team(queing for tank 3 dps, and let the random heal)

I would use one account to boost, and have B refer c, and c refer D. Not sure if you can set that up like that as its been ages since i did it, but when you level up C and D and B they all get the xp bonus and you can use the main account to boost. This would tend to lead the group up to 60 very easily. once they're all 60 you can use the grant-a level chaining to get a fourth shaman up to 60, then just transfer him off onto the 4th account at a later date :D

A new account can't recruit an already made account
Same 2 made accounts linked to one new :\

he meant

A=old
B=old
C=new
D=new

A is booster account with your current main

B -> C ->D

A wont be linked, but then you can boost with A and level B, C and D faster. You will get more free levels on B as well

If you want to boost...

You'll need:
A (old)
B (old) >> C (new) >> D (new)

And then A can exceed the group by however many levels, and BC and CD are valid RAF links so BCD will all get the 3x experience.

The other option is:
A -- C
B -- D

In which case, all four accounts get RAF to 60th, but you cannot boost at all, as C is dependent on A being similar level, as is D to B.

If you want to play four toons, and you're sure of your team, and fairly sure you don't want other teams, this might be the way to go.

I'd probably still go with the A // B - C - D approach.
Just make sure whichever of your two existing accounts has a good booster is on A; in a perfect world, one of your two accounts would have the booster and be close to full, while the other would have few toons on it... that way you could boost with A, already have toons there to join the teams you boost, and B has slots open for new toons.

Also consider going with five accounts, instead of four...
That gets you:
A (old) >> C >> D
B (old) >> E
Which means you can boost with A, and have RAF on BCDE.
If you were to boost four toons on BCDE, you would have:
A x0 // Plus x2 from C (granted levels) // Plus x1 (Cascade granted levels)
B x4 // Plus x2 from E (granted levels)
C x4 // Plus x2 from D (granted levels)
D x4
E x4
Also a party of five gets you a full group for instances.
In which case, I'd go Pally and 4x Shaman if you had a PvE focus.
Or a Druid and 4x Shaman if you had a PvP focus... Druid can be both a Bear for PvE and a Boomkin for PvP, which brings the 13% spell damage boost (from Earth and Moon).

Play the toons which will be the most fun for you.
If you have a level 80, you can do a faction transfer (or even a server transfer, if you prefer) and take quite a bit of gold with you... I believe 20k or so.

I would go with the same aspect ratio.
The size doesn't matter so much, but you want the ratio's to match for faster switching of toons.

I'd probably divide the slave monitor into quarters, which gets you three filled areas and one area for a wowhead/thottbot window.
Then stick the main on the main monitor.
But do whatever works for you.

If you go with a booster, then instances.
If you don't go with a booster, then quest.

You can do pvp along the way too, whichever route you like.
It's a change of pace, and gets you some experience too.
