New 80's advice on where to get weapons

So, I hit 80 over the weekend and I am still using crap weapons on my casters.
I have only pvp'd with them and have 4pc of the pvp set..all of the acc's pieces ie bracers, rings n stuff.

The crafted caster weap is kinda weak by todays standards...but still better..

I tried searching but guess I should start running some pve to pvp I guess :(

did you do the ring o blood 2.0? heh its got starter weaps I guess.
if you are looking into blacksmithing made weaps.. get the mats and craft on your own pretty cheap for starter weaps.

my money goes to Garfrost normal mode gives a nice staff, heroic gives a dagger for healers or shammies and FoS last boss drops a nice sword on heroic.
Garfrost normal has a high drop rate of the staff also, so easy to farm.

Or go farm for a few hours per day and buy hilts. Farming 1-2k gold an hour as a boxer is decently easy and in the end could be well worth it. Or buy the weapon from 25 marrowgar from guilds/pugs for less than 15k.

I started with the cheesy wpns from the ring of blood thingy in zul'drak.

If you can run HoR on normal, the daggers and maces at the end are great for casters, I got atleast one of each every time I ran it. Not sure what ur team comp is, mine was four dps/healers, so finding a tank is easy to farm HoR, as a great tanking shield drops off the second boss.

Ok, I just got the staff from gar.. it dropped every run lol..

When you are geared enough for heroic, the dagger also drops a lot too, I have it on all my shamans. I have the sword on all my locks and mages, both have about the same spell power but the dagger has mana regen on it instead of the crit of the sword (I think).
If you are running shamans the shield from Tyrannus is worth trying for too, it is ilevel 219 and can be farmed on regular PoS too.

Pit of Saron is the best thing to get easy weapons

The normal mode gives 219 Weapons and its really easy to box it.

But i think its still better to go with everyx toon single in the heroic mode, the weapons are 232 and with th emost randoms no problem, many pps have better weapons too and so you can have them

For those wanting an alternative to blacksmithing weapons would be the cheap ones from tokens at the argent tournament

Not sure what classes your running, but you could always run 2s or 3s with some other people to 1800 for T1 weps... rotating your toons through. New team members will start at 1000 PR if your team rating is over 1000
