I never see this stuff on my 80 team but I started leveling this old team that has been sitting at 72 for like a year.

Lately, what i've been doing when someone calls me a "botter" or "gold farmer", etc. I just say "If you think thats what I am, then by all means, report me!". That normally shuts them up.

Next time respond to them from all of your toons, "We are Borg. Resistance is futile." See what they say then :D

Sometimes I have fun with them.
Mostly, just ignore them, not worth my time.

I usually just chat to them for a while after we have got passed the hate part...
The last one I had was there telling me that I was disrespecting the game and the other players...
then I explained to him that I had levelled up 5 80's solo and had a few others on their way to 80 solo and that I was sick and tired of getting into bullshit pugs who disappeared after a wipe and he completely got it.
especially the bit about the pugs :)

If I had a dollar for every tosshead who'd abused, /spat, reported, insulted or otherwise behaved poorly due to my multiboxing...well, I wouldn't be a millionaire for sure, but I'd be at least several months of subs better off... lol.
Those who enquire nicely get responses, haters just get ignored. Like Zenga said, start a conversation with them and it's like an intellect drain from you into the aether (since assuredly the hater never gets any smarter).

Ive turned some haters into groupies.... after I saved Ironforge from a horde raid that was apparantly raping the auctioneers, right when I got out of an AV... After that he kept whispering me to help defend the citys against more horde raids, asking questions about how to do it, and so on. Good times.
Whats really funny is, with the amount of attention boxers get, why would anyone think they are botting? Dont botters want to stay below the radar?

I'm amazed at the number of people who've asked me whether I've leveled my various team members one at a time...
I mean, I can understand ignorance of the finer points of multiboxing, but that some people think we level a team of 5 to 80 - one at a time - does make me /facepalm still.

hehe yeah ozphoenix, and same goes for ... 'why do they all have the same gear' ... when you've just explained them that you play them together

That's probably the second most frequently asked question I get.
I never see this stuff on my 80 team but I started leveling this old team that has been sitting at 72 for like a year.
