Hey guys, I hit 80 today on my team and went into Wintergrasp and AV and it was a slide show..

Can I run my wow at a smaller resolution to maybe gain some performance?
I am currently running 1920x1080 on all the toons.

Since I am playing in a window I would think I could set it down to 1200xwhatever and gain some framerate.

Never had an issue till today but its the first Wintergrasp and AV.. Its been all WSG, AB, Eye and sota

Have a c2d @3.4
4gig ram
vid card is kinda old tho

1920x1080 looks funky anyhow when I have the screen split up.

Thanks in advance

Yes, lowering your resolution will result in a performance gain.

If you want, you can keep a large window size, but have ISBoxer scale a smaller resolution up to the size of the window (same performance gain). If you want to try this, pick a smaller resolution that will divide evenly at the same aspect ratio, and put it in "Desired rendering size" in your Window Layout

Can you say all of the above? A quad core CPU would help, 8 gig RAM would help. a newer video card would help. For now turn the slaves down to the minimum and master to mid-range. You found the common places that lag out the best of them.
