Gotta read the fine print when it comes to Blizz...

(up to 310% speed if you already have a 310% mount).

So yeah you already have to have 310% You also have to RAF a new friend if you claimed all your gifts lol... Another 45$ US.

Kind of too cool a mount to pass up though.

If you've claimed your Recruit-A-Friend gift and received the Zhevra you'll need to refer a new friend (thus gaining a new reward to redeem and claim after this change) to also obtain the X-53 Touring Rocket.

If you have a reward waiting around you have not claimed it can be used to claim a Zhevra now, or you can wait and claim an X-53 after the change.

I hope that in response of all these whines on the official board, Blizzard ends up making the change retroactive for those who already have the old mount and want the new one. Yeah since I already have 2 accounts and enjoy dual boxing, I would have no use of a 3rd one but I would really enjoy being able to fly at full speed at a price of only one 280% comp :P Well I know I'm only dreaming here :)

Just another reason for people to start a RAF purely for an ingame mount if you ask me.

lol, they just need to start charging $45 for the mount, because I'm sure most people (non-boxers) are just gonna do the RAF to themselves, pay for the two months and then cancel, just for the mount. And I'm sure Blizzard knows it as well. No need to try to be slick, because there are people out there (myself included) who will just pay the money for slick new mounts like this.

I'm just hoping that its Bind to Account!!! If thats the case, I'll get 5 the first day!

Unfortunately, that's 3x faster leveling, but doing it three times... so no gain.
Also, that's only faster mounts for one team.

How much do other in-game mounts cost? $19.95 for the game + $16 for a month seems a lot cheaper than some of the TCG mount cards/codes and such.

Just checked my accounts, my main account has 1 unclaimed mount and my second has 2 Woooo :) This is good as for solo play I am planning to change mains with Cat.

I have a number of Zhevra's saved up (never used any of them). Well for once I'm glad I procrastinated.
