Hi,

I am looking for an addon which shows me the casting bar of my alts.

I know Unitframes have the possibility to show them, but I would like to see them separate, to see if some dps gets stuck.

Any Idea ?

Cheers BC

I'm not sure if you can find a unitframe that is modular enough to allow showing the castbars by themselves (or i guess in pitbull you could make everything else hidden or transparent, that might work), but I am content with just using a unitframe that shows castbars.

i think i was using the "PartyCastingBars". works if you have it on all toons.

here's also another thread on this: http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=25744&highlight=alt+casting+bar

Pitbull works out very well to show your slaves casting.

I'm using Pitbull too, and like it.
The castbars and especially the party member's targets are useful for boxing.

Another one for pitbull. Cast bars work much better in 4 than 3 in my experience.

Thanks guys for the input.
I do use pitbull already. I was looking for an addon which shows ONLY the casting bars as a block, so I can see if one is slacking without looking at the HP/Mana/Aggro ...

But then, I just might redesign my gui (AGAIN - weep) to see the information :)

Cheers

Shadowed can do it pretty easy:

If you don't want all the other party/raid bars, etc, it's very easy to customize and disable the default bars.

You can do this with Pitbull. You can create as many sets of frames as you'd like. Create another 'party' frame and design that one special so it has everything stripped from it except for cast bars.

Coool. I might just do that. TY

I played a bit around with Pitbull.

Well I figured I still have pitbull 3 which does not do the job.
So I installed pitbull4 and it created a new party group with a castbar only layout.
I aligned it with my healbot and it looks nice.

Will give it a test drive tomorrow

(still have pitbull3 as well until I revamp my UI :)

Pitbull 3 has a lot more configuration options.
If you're happy with Pitbull 4, then stick with that.
If you want more customization then 4 will give you, 3 has more then twice the options.

actually I have both now :)

I was too lazy to completely recreate my old pitbull 3 config. So after creating the castbars party group in pitbull 4 I deactivated all other bars in pitbull 4 and reactivated pitbull3 :) I will keep it like this for the time being.

II didn't see anything missing immediately from pitbull 4 what i USED in my pitbull 3 layout.

I'll did this on my main only, so the memory usage is not that bad ... :)
