So, found this, for free? seems you have to pay for some extra features or something i dunno.. (dont really care about price)
but it's exactly like wow.. almost a copy, but better graphics, more classes and stuff, different raids and pvp obviously..

just looks neat, I am downloading it now.. if I can figure out how to multibox it... lol its free will multibox whatever my comp can handle :)

It looks neat, but i'm not a big fan of 'free' games where you need to spend money to be able to compete.. like this one, or Evony for example.
Basically it comes down to who has the most money to spend on the game, and frankly it's not what I look for in games.

Looks interesting.

From what I see in youtube videos the pvp is much more balanced than in wow and combats last way longer than the usual oneshot crit.

Keep us posted if that game is good to play.

well the game is definitely fun, different class mech. and stuff. but very sim. to wow.
The thing about paying for things.. i guess its somewhat true, but if u look ingame (theres a panel where u can buy stuff) its potions, bags, and holiday costumes and pets.. (the potions u can get ingame bassically.. but i think they are a little better, but not worth buying in my mind...

bassically, i'm pretty sure u can play this game without spending a dime.. only thing (which is reallllly lame)
is talent respects u have to pay real cash.
My way around this would be to look online the best spec and build is as you level.

The biggest problem with the game at the moment is the penalty for dying. The rez sickness (called Fear of Death) is a 25% stat decrease that stacks up to 4 times, and lasts 50 minutes at max level (you also get this debuff if you die from PvP). Getting a rez from another player does not remove the debuff either. Neither does logging out, it only counts down while in game.

Of course you can avoid it by buying an in-game item (perfume) for RL money. The cost for each perfume is $0.75US or $13.50US for a pack of 20. Each perfume lasts 30 mins and persists through death, so 20 will give you 10 hours game play with no death penalty.

Otherwise you need to visit a 'servant of light', pay them gold to have it removed, there are usually 2-3 in each zone. However if you die in an instance, you cannot leave the instance to visit a servant of light (if you leave the instance at any time, you are locked out until the following day). You also need to have perfumes if you want to remain competitive in PvP.

So its easy to end up spending more on this 'free' game than you would in a month of WoW.

After having a read through their forums, it seems there are also a lot of complaints about the PvP being quite unbalanced, particularly around the level scaling, and the fact that a player 1 or 2 levels higher can wipe the floor with your toon. Additionally, there are also a lot of complaints about War Banners - basically the servers are PvE, but war banners allow you to force another player's pvp flag on - consequently this has led to a lot of griefing by max level toons in lower level zones.

Cheers,
S.

I'd like to see some actual game play videos from a player's perspective, so if you can, I'd like to see you upload some if you're up to it. The game looks cool from the vids from the site, but I'm always skeptical about getting hooked on a 'free-to-play' mmo. I might still try it later on, this or Evony to save an extra $60 a month. If it is multiboxable, let us know what the system requirements are as apposed to WoW.

Edit: Just read Stealthy's post after posting this. All I have to say about this, is F**k That S**t. I'm not gonna go through this hassle to try and enjoy a video game. That's why I stopped playing on PvP servers on WoW. Now if they changes this, then I might be inclined to try it out.

Wow has spoiled you all so bad. The game actually looks pretty fun.

UO - dying meant you lost all your stuff or atrocious stat loss if you were a red

EQ - dying meant you might lose a level

Wow - dying means absolutely nothing

You young wippersnappers and your consequence-less video games!

yep, but i play for fun :-)

i knew a guild where they were hardcore Role Players, and would restart their toon from level 1 if they died in game.
no need to say they were all quite low in that guild, but that worked for them i guess

I have Allods now, and multiple accounts, but can anyone share a good trick to run multiple copies of it at once on the same computer?
