There are a ton of possibilities here. First of all...
My hardware is more than good enough.Care to share these specs?
Is FRAPs loaded as well? FRAPs and XFire don't play well together.
Are you using Inner Space? Inner Space and XFire don't play well together until you change options.
Are you recording the footage to your drives or just broadcasting?
Are you recording to the same drives your OS/Game are running off of?
What quality are you broadcasting/recording at?
SPECIFICS!

I had the same issue with Xfire, I believe its somehow trying to setup a recorder for each instance of the game when your multiboxing. It completely lags out my game ( when boxing ), I just use livestream for recording but it reduces my frames as well to a point that is tolerable but not really practical in fast paced arenas.

Rest of the questions:
Fraps : Not running
Innerspace: yeah this is what im using.Any options i have to change to make work better with xfire?
As far as i know im just broadcasting, allthough i am running my wow on a SSD drive and rest of my pc off two Velociraptor discs.
Quality: afaik its recording at the standard the xfire comes with. and at 30 fps.
Cheers!

dont use Xfire :D
I used it all the time but when I started to multibox I noticed same lag as you describe. So i tested a lot of programs and setups but only what worked was shutting down Xfire. When I did it and started IS it was fine. But it never fixed the lag when I started IS and closed xfire later. So basically I don’t use Xfire since I got figured out what causing lag.
