I was instance boosting my little paladins in Stratholme couple of days ago and I was wondering why my girlfriend was giggling by herself. I raised an eyebrow and looked at her. She just responded with funny look (something like this::D). Half an hour later she asked "how do you play multiple characters at once?". I was like "umm, what?". -"You see, I just sent myself RaF-invite and I have two accounts now. I want to play paladin and priest!".

She isn't one of the most patient persons, I was a little bit scared to see how things would roll up. I explained how to set focus- and follow macros up. Soon she had nice macro for priest that allowed her to go pounding some monsters with her new paladin and priest would cast smites.

Some time later I got my paladins levelled, and she had her toons somehwere lvl 6 or 7. I had promised myself that these paladins would be last toons for this RaF-session, but... I made couple of mages and quickly got them up to lvl10. She had leveled her toons up to 12 at that point.

Couple of runs in RFC, few in SFK and then to Scarlet Monastery. Now we both have 2x lvl40 chars and maybe today we'll get some more in ZF... followed by Stratholme.

I never had imagined that my GF would start multiboxing ... just like that. Has anyone else encountered this kind of "she/he just started boxing"-behaviour? :P

Shortly after moving from two accounts (no software or hardware broadcasting, just two keyboards and two PC's) to five accounts and using boxing software (keyclone), my roommate moved went from one account to three and had me help him set up keyclone and make a focus based assist system.

It is contagious...

A few months after I started, most of my {then} guild followed suit. None of them lasted very long, though. My husband picked it up for a while, but he has no interest in 2x5 raiding anymore, so he's back to 1 account.

no, my wife plays those facebook games instead, you know the ones which fill up every inch of the screen and stops you from using FB. She says I'm obsessed, I tell her it's a VIRTUAL zoo and shouldn't get so attached to the animals...
