Anybody see this in the patch notes:
Lightning Overload: No longer triggers the cooldown for Chain Lightning.
Does this mean in arenas, bgs, etc if you fire a lightning bolt volley, followed with a chain lightning, that any of your toons that proc'd the overload would not fire chain lightning? If so, that should be a big change for us with that talent.

I never even noticed that lightning overload put CL on cooldown. that's a cool change

I dont think it did, when I ran shamans I had party spell casting visible and they were always casting CL.

I can't say that I've ever noticed it, but I've also never looked closely as I always expected it to work. I know in bgs, they get out of sync all the time, but I just assumed it was due to interrupts, fears, etc. I did patchwerk a few weeks ago and noticed that all my guys seemed to be a little out of sync which is puzzling as I don't have any haste proc items equip.
It it was bugged, it's a welcome and good change. I don't see it being overall game changing for us, just curious to know if anybody else has actually seen this not working right before.

I've never noticed it putting Chain Lightning on cooldown.
With talents, the cooldown on Chain Lightning is 3.5 seconds, so it would be easy to miss.
Still, I'm using a click castsequence, and Chain Lightning has higher priority then my fall through.
Which means, if its erroneously on cooldown and its the spell to cast next, then the macro will hang.
I don't see an elemental not taking Lightning Overload.
So overall, a very slight buff to Elemental Shaman.
