With the new flame shock change where haste shortens the duration it looks like i've lost a fair share of dps. I haven't really tested this in a raid, just against the dummy for quite a while. I used to sit around 6.8k until running out of mana (without bloodlust), while now i hardly gets over 6.2.

My click rate is the same and i have tuned my macro's for the new flameshock duration.

My flameshock duration is 22.73s (tier 9 set bonus + 616 haste (18.79% speed increase). With a click rate of 4.9 this means 111 comma's before i recast flame shock. I'm hit capped and have 34;41 crit chance and 2803 bonus damage.

Im' using chain lightning, totem of wrath and flamtongue glyphs (renewed life, water shield & breathing as minors).

The toon i'm talking about is this one (armory). (http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Kul+Tiras&cn=Flyingvasco)

The only thing i can think about is theTotem of Electrifying Wind i'm using and might proc to reduce the time my flameshock is on the target.

I'm thinking to go back toFurious Gladiator's Totem of Survival and when i have enough arena points to Relentless Gladiator's Totem of Survival. Haste on proc's is not what i'm waiting for now that flame shock is influenced by it.

Only other option that i see is to cast flame manual, which is a pain since my 3 shammies are no longer geared on par, thus having each a different haste.

That change wasn't very successful. And for hc's it doesn't really matter that much, for raids i'll have to cast flame shock manual i guess.

My dps has gone up with the change. There are a few threads on elitistjerks explaining the exact numbers, but basically if you are renewing every time FS drops off (as you should be) then the haste change is basically increasing the dps from your FS by whatever your haste percentage is whilst only slightly decreasing overall dps due to the loss of your haste percentage x 1 global cooldown. Poor wording maybe, but EJ explains it more comprehensively than going throught the exact details here.

I think you should reconsider your glyphs as far as pve dps goes.
