I doubt I'm the only one that was keeping an eye on Mojo while waiting for it to get a few more features needed to use it full time. Unfortunately, the last update was back in January. Does anyone have any information on this? I realize people get busy with more important things, but it'd be nice to find out if this will be moving forward anytime soon.

thanks if anyone knows anything

No its not Abandended just Freddie just needed a break He Codes Mojo for fun and recently it seamed like work
so for now hes taking a break so he dosent get burned out.

I expect he will return with new ideas and more code once hes rejuvinated.

Mojo died because one of the testers went ape shit and decided to scream until he got his way and then refused to listen to developer feedback.

I don't blame Freddie for dropping it.

Heh, I have a friend who's been a software program manager for HP and a smaller ISV for about 10 years now. His efforts at keeping software focused on realistic features and actually shipping product have made me deeply appreciate anyone who can wrangle a piece of complex software that far along and in users' hands (even with a few bugs) in the relatively short amount of time Freddie spent on it.

If the above is what happened (re: uppity tester(s)), that's an awful shame and, sadly, all too often the fate of open-source (or weakly-managed commercial) products. Having learned that lesson on past projects, I'd much rather banz0r said tester than derail an entire project because one person's desire differs from everyone else's. If it's due to P1 bugs, that's one thing. Features are something else.

Ah well. Here's hoping things will pick back up again sometime with a better result. ;)

I haven't decided to abandon Mojo. I just haven't felt like working on it lately.

Personally Mojo looked really promising to me, just a few more features and I was planning to give it a try.
Good to know it's only on hold. :)

It was Moorea I was referring too in my previous post. (tester that went ape shit). I wasn't going to mention his name, but he changed my mind for me with a recent PM.

So if you're upset about Mojo being delayed, send your hate mail to him.

I think a few people may have taken this the wrong way. I would advise anyone against harassing another member via PMs or in any other form. But if you go and instigate something, you better be prepared to handle it.
