Using the same macro as before in the same position as before... i can nolonger follow in vehicles unless my toons were in vehicles before my main gets in his and has followed him outside of the vehicle beforehand. And then if i have to move on the vehicles like strafe then i can't get follow back.
Anyone else having this problem?
my macro i use for following in vehicles
/target toon1
/focus
/follow focus
i've tried both F7 key and Shift + 1 as hotkeys

Try focusing without trying to target first ie
/focus toon1
/follow focus
If they aren't in the same party/raid it may not work, but has been working for me so far when they are grouped together.

Assist is still broken.

This isn't a change this is the way it has been for as long as I've been back (so Sept). You cannot target a toon that is in a vehicle, but you can focus that toon.
Works:
/follow toon1
Or:
/focus toon1
/follow focus
Does not work:
/tar toon1
Or:
/assist toon1
There is/was some odd behavior that seems to happen WHEN you get in the vehicle, so sometimes my "follow state" would persist when I got into a vehicle and sometimes it would not.
I just created a more complicated macro that does a targetexact, then a follow, then a setfocus with a follow. I'll put it up later if people are interested - but you can probably figure it out :)

Correct, just have one lead toon for vehicles. Have a macro on the alts to focus the main toon, and an target focus target macro (not assist!) and just focus the lead with that button after mounting up in the vehicle.
I have it setup so that when I get in a vehicle it brings up a special bar just for this set up with repeater regions for clicking the focus button and the target focustarget :)

Please explain further. I just purchased ISBoxer specifically to do jousting and OCC. How do you set up your special bar?
ISBoxer's built in follow and assist work in vehicles, you don't need a special bar. The default FTL DPS Keys generated by the Quick Setup Wizard work in vehicles, I use those myself for jousting and oculus -- just hit 1 2 3 4 5 etc.

Once all your toons are in the vehicles, hit your follow mapped key.
For almost every vehicle in the game, your slaves will follow without issue.
And as Lax said, pressing 1, gets you the FTL 1 DPS mapped key.
Where the slaves auto assist the active toon, and do whatever is on 1.
Even when follow doesn't work perfectly, this seems to.
Sometimes, you can have your other toons on auto follow, and not in a vehicle.
And then do the quest with the main alone.
And get credit for all of them.
A few quests work with dead toons on follow.

"this post deleted because of stupidity"
Uberhoser Jousting.
OK I think ISBOXER is much more than what I needed as a 2 account holder. I just figured out how to do the keybindings AND make my action bar 6 visible.
Making a note to myself for future reference (if and when my PC takes a dive and I loose everything..again)
1) Go into Bartender.
2) Go to Bar 6.
3) Click on Visibility tab
4) Uncheck "Hide with Vehicle UI"
5) Take your follow/focus/assist macro
6) Put it in slot one of Bar 6
7) On the toon you want to follow your main, click on Key Bindings in Bartender.
8) Hover over the 1 button, and then press F1.
9) Slap yourself silly, after 2 days of endless frustrations.

if you're a multiboxer and only using blizzards regular bars, and not a custom bar addon, you're severely hampering your options imo :) go download bartender or macaroon !! :)

that's a matter of opinion, personal taste, play style and broken updates.
