Yes, atleast at first you are going to see gems take a dump right away. People have had 2 weeks to farm for marks and with honor per kill doubling and honor in general for wins/objectives. Once people buy their pvp pieces if they dont have them their is nothing to spend honor on besides gems. Gem prices will dump for a while.

I have about 6 pages of Marks in the mail box besides the 100 of each I already have on several characters. However it could just be boxers who make/strike it rich with this change since we can rack up the honor x3,4,5 etc.

Seeing that Im 8 Transmute mastery and ive been just mass producing cardinal rubies.... Question is do i stock pile and let the market settle or just keep pumping them out at current market value...

Yea, its a tough call cause you want the highest value you can get. I think most of the playerbase does not know how much more honor they will get now and its alot imo. Once the majority find this out I think alot more people will be playing in Bgs atleast for a while until it dies out again.

I wouldnt do a mass sell off right away I would wait a bit. I am planning on selling some but not alot unless I see the market tanking then I will sell off.

Well to be totally honest I spent all the marks I could on the battlemasters quest. It gave 1469 honor per 6 tokens 1 of each bg mark. I did that up to 75k. Now when the patch goes live you can no longer turn in the marks for the quest. The patch gives you 185 honor = 1 token and 6 tokens only gives 1110 honor now. So I gained an extra 359 honor up to the max honor cap.

I have 75k and 100+ tokens of each(except 50 of Ioc tokens, but 100+ of AV and others) on 10 characters and 75k and about 60 tokens on most on my other lvl 80s that I dont or havent played in a while.

If you have 100 of each token its 111,000 honor per character as of the patch today. In reality though getting 4-5k+ honor per AV makes gaining honor really, really easy now. People will get their wrathful off sets/ furious sets so fast now that they will be at max cap pretty quick with nothing to spend on honor except gems.

If I blew my honor wad, which I wont since I still need 1 or more pieces of wrathful offsets on most of my characters. I could grab anywhere from 200-250 rubies today.

you can expect gems to go down, but not a lot... maybe 20g at most per. There might be an initial shock of gems... but some people will be using it for pvp gear instead of gold.

I think youre wrong, but hey I wont complain because if your right I will be swimming in gold and so will every other boxer who does BGs. Personally I see gems going down to 100-120 cut and 60-80g uncut

Looks like the old quest for marks is still there, so you can at least for a short time get the highest value for your marks if you have all the different ones.

They were a ton on Cardinal Rubies dumped on KJ after the patch. Ran about 10-15g less then normal but I see that as undercutting. It might be a few days, but new gear will eat up the gems. TS bars is the one that worries be. No Cooldowns, mats at 60g so you will see them below 100g for a while.

hehe. Unless people are going to farm bgs for gems, youre right I cant see it changing the prices a bunch. Which makes me a happy camper!

Rubies were back up today, not all the way but better. I will give a few days and just xmute my gems and hold. I can also cut them but those seemed bloated right now
