60-70... Well, i originally 5 box, but. Lately I figured i would just level my 5 shammys 2 at once then 3 at once, so i can get into randoms. They wil eventually be 70 and then I will buy wotlk, but my problem is, when i que for a random, it takes 30 minutes per dunegon. So, what should i do to level?

Yep. Questing is so flippin easy these days, especially with the increased rep rewards and decreased leveling xp requirements.

If you think 60-70 is bad, then you'll really love 70-80!

Ditto - 60-69 is a walk in the park (hfp, zang, nagrand and you're done) - 71-79 is soooo slow and painful...

with flying at 60 now you should be 60-70 in like 10 hours questing. Get quest, fly, do quest, fly back. Takes 2 minutes what used to take 20 by horseback.

If you can afford flying mounts, questing is ridiculously quick and easy in Outlands.
If you are on your 2nd team (or later), add in two heirloom items for an additional 20% boost.

Not to mention, 1st to 70th only requires 70% of the original experience per level.
All mobs and quests give 30% more then they used to, when that was current content.
Which with heirlooms is half the original time.

I'd quest, skip collections unless the item is lootable by everyone or the kills are fast/easy.
You can instance a little if you like, but quests will be faster.
And pvp is an option, but again I'd probably wait until 71+ or better 74+ before adding that.
At 74, 5x toons can contribute quite nicely in AV's.

Where more quests eagerly await you!

Seriously, I've *NEVER* understood why people that HATE to quest choose to play a game that is so quest driven.

I think I can answer this. From my perspective I enjoy the end game more that the process of leveling. To me its just that, an unfortunate necessary process that I must endure minus the few BGs on the way to the end. However, 70-80 since bg exp/LFD daily have become an option it has become a bit more enjoyable.

I will concede your point, but after 5 years of lvling its more of a chore than anything.

I totally agree after the first few times it becomes a necessary chore to reach where you really want to be. But looking @ the OP you can only assume this is his first team, 1 post, no teams in signature or profile. I just want to tell him to man up, he doesn't have any clue how easy he has it. Maybe I'm just mad when people have it easier than I did. (yeahI'mmadbro)

I think you should stay until 70 before you move on.

Having just done my first team 60-70 I have to say it wasnt that bad. Everytime I hit a collection quest in outland I just ignored it and moved on. Did HFP, Zanger, Nagrand, Blades and a bit of netherstorm. All with flying, when I hit 68 I had to choose better XP rewards in northrend or flying in outland, I took the XP in northrend. Im now 70 and have 85 quests done in Howling Forde (Horde) Im doing every quest, even collections.
Its painful, and kinda slow but Im getting there a few hours at a time :/

I actually recommend doing all the quests (even collections) on your main team in northrend. Simply because it's some really good content and lore, and you do not want to end up turning in some collection on your main character, to have him all of a sudden enter a different phase from the rest of your characters. Do all the quests the first time around and take your time. On subsequent teams, just boost/lfd/bg/powerlevel them up.

I already have 2 toons that have leveled up properly in Northrend so the lore isnt an issue :) But yes its pretty much for the phasing and the fact that its a lot of XP to get from 70-80 and theres a lot of quest chains I would miss. Plan is
HF>BT>DB>GH>SB>SP>IC
Pretty much skip Zul Drak, I hated that place :P

Im planning to quest a bit even when I hit 80 (Between heroics) as the money from finishing zones is nice. This plan has ever chance of falling through as I will no doubt want to get started on team mage which is sitting at 60.

This is where my druid is now. I am doing BT/HF now; about 100 quests done in each, half way to 72. I usually go to GH first, seemed easier the DB. My first toon worked ZD and I agree it was bad. 2nd toon went to SB and did almost all those quests (stupid Rock Giant) Then was ready to ding. Either way I had 3 whole zones plus to grind for gold. As a solo toon, do every quest. I have not gotten a teqam that high yet, seems like you will fall short as you kill less mobs total and split the XP. But with a group, you can instance at near level for extra loots/XP

I'm 75 and half way through DB and will ding 76 in DB... but i will do zd.

GH should get me 77.5ish, zd will get me 79.5 then i can go unlock hodir and i'll be done.

God, unlocking Hodir was such a pain. I took 2 teams through that garbage.

Sigh.

60-70 isn't really bad at all. Just this week I stepped into the Portal and am now 66. Is it just me, or did the Alliance have a ton less collections than Horde in Hellfire? I went from 58-61 in the matter of about an hour it seemed like with no collections.

must be you, I find many collection quest to start out. Zeppelin parts, wood and metal, buzzard wings and something with void walkers

Ualaa

I skipped the Void Walkers and Buzzard Wings.

Did the Zeppelin Parts on the druids, since they can loot them in Flight Form.
But skipped them on the other teams I've been leveling for alchemy transmutes.

With 30% less experience needed per level.
And 19% less experience needed from two +exp BoA items per toon.
You can do less then half the quests in each zone, and ding 70th in Netherstorm without touching Shadowmoon Valley.
Or if you do some collections along the way, reach 70th in late Nagrand, or early Blades Edge Mountains.

*Assuming a Hellfire, Zangarmarsh, Terrokar, Nagrand, Blade's Edge, Netherstorm progression.
