Hey guys, first post.
I just wanted to post this for all the aspiring multiboxers such as myself.
Multiboxing hardware does not have to be expensive!
My rig goes as follows:
$320 - HPG61 Laptop: I got this on black friday 2009 at Fry's for a very VERY modest price, you can find the specs online, it's a nice little machine, and it's easy on the wallet.
$80 - Logitech g13 Gameboard: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/gaming/mice_keyboard_combos/devices/5123&cl=us,en Totally optional, I use this for Pleanty of games, it makes multiboxing a tad more smooth. I don't use a progammable mouse (as of yet) so this thing helps a lot.
Compaq Flatscreen Monitor - $10: I bought this at a thrift store, not sure about the size, I think it's 22 inches, I purchased it for 10 dollars because the stand was broken, so I removed the nub at I just lean it against my wall. (Until I mount it of course.) This allows me to Dual screen (No extra software needed, Thanks Windows7!)
I just wanted to state that you don't need a six figure job to begin boxing, My whole rig costed me about 400 bucks and I only bought the monitor, along with 4 battlechests to begin boxing (160 If i remember). My rig runs 4 boxes like a champ, and gets a tad choppy at 5.
Also, I dinged 50 on my first team (4 Shaman) by 4 boxing dungeons (no tank or dedicated healer) last night.
