View Full Version : People's availability for raiding

There have been a few attempts to get raids going, without a whole lot of success. This thread is to get a sense of when people are available. I'm not trying to start a dedicated group, but it think it would be easier to get a raid or two off the ground if it was planned around people's schedules rather than an arbitrary start time.

For those who are interested, what time(s) are you usually available? Also, what role(s) would you want to fill?

Time: weekdays after 6pm server, weekends after 4pm server
Role: melee dps for current content, tank/dps for earlier content

I can do almost any night, so long as I make it my defacto man cave night away from my wife. Right now Wednesdays are best, but I can work it around.

My role: melee dps for current content, tank/dps for earlier content

I got do pretty much any time (but "dinner" ie not around 7pm pst) on weekends - and any time after 9pm or so on weekdays - I could potentially find a way to start something early some wednesdays

Role(solo or dual boxing): my tank starts to be somewhat geared / should be able to help (35k hp; 4.6k gs) my pally is poorly geared and I don't really know what to do with him, maybe respec heals...

My 5x teams are still in the low 70s so... not yet there

Currently (as of this very second): I am available all day Wed/Thurs (but those are my DiT days). Any other day after 9pm server, I'm golden.

When I get this new job and quit my other shithole job: I should be off no later than 7-8 Server, leaving me available more often.

Roles: If I'm not locked to a DiT run on my pally, I'm available to DPS/OT. If I am locked, I can bring a hunter, dk, warlock/rogue (if its not a GS dependent run). If pressed, I can gear up my tree druid or priest healer to do stuff.. etc.

Times - any time BEFORE 4 PM on weekends is best for me, but... yeah.

Within your specified blocks of time, Thursdays 3 PM - 7:30 PM server

M T W 7:30-9:30 PM server, though 8 PM - 10 PM might be safer.

Friday and Saturday nights are definitely out.

Just about any role, though I'm probably best at DPS or Tanking.

If you don't get a decent turnout on Wednesday, you may want to try another day, I know the DiT crew has alts that they're probably interested in bringing. Damn weds and thurs being the best raid nights hehe.

If we do this Wednesday I will be on a plane to LA, other than that I will be free.

How about Tuesday for you?

Would be great to have some of the DiT alts.

It seems like there is a group of LoBs that arent part of DiT that would like to get into raiding, myself mainly, so I'm sort of targeting the non-DiT folks tho of course I don't want to exclude anyone.

Just trying to get some of us that are new to raiding into the process. I know next to nothing about raiding new content, last I raided was Naxx10 so I have a lot to learn.

This week is bad for me, so Tuesday is unlikely. Too much work to put into my in-laws house before they sell and then flying off to California where I will immediately enter an alcohol induced coma for 4 days. Starting the 29th it is on like Donkey Kong for me.
