Item Level and ICC 5 Man Dungeons

Hi all,
so a quick question, if I group up my fresh level 80 toon with my fully geared team, will the fresh toon be allowed to enter ICC 5 man dungeons? I am thinking I can pick up a few upgrades on each of my shammies by running them individually with my fully geared teams but not sure if I can get into these dungeons. Their GS is only at 2400.

Not with the LFD tool. Just fly there and I think your fine.

you should be fine if you actually go to the dungeon entrance. iLevel becomes an issue if you try using /lfd.

Run to the instances. Don't use the que system and you can get in fine.

Thanks, I will just fly them there if I decide to do this, reckon it might save me some gold on their staffs etc :D

In the LFG tool if your gear is too low there will be a lock over the dungeon check box.

But all you need is like 3 pieces of triumph gear or so+lvl 200 rest of gear to get high enough.
